Well, it may have been a .38 Special or a .357, but C**t .45 just says “Texas”, doesn’t it? The last little boy in this litter is a real pistol.

Our second little girl. Brenham is the home of and headquarters for Blue Bell Creameries and Blue Bell is the 4th best-selling ice cream brand in the United States. Now what girl doesn’t like ice cream!

SuperNova’s Texas Tornado
Boy number 4 touched-down! On the evening of March 21, 2022, we were playing a rousing card game of Pitch, with our hosts Jeff and Lynne with the storm tracker radio within earshot as a massive storm approached. Frequently throughout the evening we would be alerted to warnings of a tornado sighting or touchdown within mere miles of the their ranch. It was the morning after the tornados that this litter was conceived.

SuperNova’s Brazos River
This little guy loves water! Either splashing in the water bowl or running under the water sprinkler this fellow had to be named after water. The Brazos river figures prominently in Texas culture and history. Brenham is located in Washington County, and Washington County is known as the "Birthplace of Texas," as it contains the site of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence on March 2, 1836 in the town of Washington-on-the-Brazos.

SuperNova’s Brenham Bluebonnet
It’s a girl! The bluebonnet has come to symbolize bravery and sacrifice, along with its great Texas-pride. Legend tells of the tale of a Native American girl named She-Who-Is-Alone. During a long, drawn-out period of drought, the chief of She-Who-Is-Alone’s tribe asked everyone to sacrifice an important possession to the Great Spirits. None of them would – except She-Who-Is-Alone. She was the only one to sacrifice an important possession of hers to the Great Spirits. She stepped forward with a gift from her long-lost parents: her most beloved doll. The Great Spirits were kind to the young girl and admired her bravery. The rain immediately began to fall and, along with it, a great field of beautiful bluebonnets.

SuperNova Duck Tollers – Texas Litter Registered Names

This lovely litter is Meg’s first and they were conceived in a field of Bluebonnet flowers in Brenham, Texas so we thought it would be very fitting to name the puppies in this litter with a Texas theme. We were at the home of good friends, Lynne and Jeff who live on a beautiful 100 acre ranch just outside of Brenham Texas, which is located an hour’s drive northwest of Houston. The entrance to the ranch is a gorgeous tunnel of live oak trees opening up onto expansive meadows punctuated with Texas Bluebonnet wildflowers which are the state flower of Texas. One of the most popular symbolic references of the Bluebonnet is Texas-pride. So, it’s with an abundance of pride we introduce to you our first litter in order of their arrival.

At 2 weeks + 2 days old, these smart little babies were showing signs of needing a toilet area. So I introduced the litter box 5 days ahead of schedule. They are all using the box, although sometimes will have their front feet in and miss the target... So good at such a young age. These pups are so smart!
