UPDATE: DEC. 17 2022
PETSEARCHERS TRAPPED OLIVER!!!
This little boy Oliver beat the odds! He was traveling through fields and creeks across from Otter Park and through the park as well. We have done searches here before and this area is well known to having more than its share of coyotes along with the odd cougar passing through as well.
We were called out to help search for this little guy as there was no sightings, we got our large posters up and the odd call came in basically confirming he had not left the area as yet. London my daughter and I (Al), set 4 traps to ensure all most likely travel routes were covered, and this morning around 2 am Oliver ventured into the trap, the one I thought would be our best chance of capturing him. Glad we got him before the freezing temperatures arrive here in next couple of days, no food, freezing temperatures and hungry wildlife is not a good mix for this little 16-pound boy. Merry Christmas Oliver!
