 Tuesday, May 30. We have received some potential and some unconfirmed sightings in the Dean Park area. It is possible that Natalie has shed her leash and harness. We are asking people to continue to watch for her.
 please do not call out to her or chase her. Call us immediately with any sightings if you think you see her. If you can note the time, the location and the direction of travel if any. If it’s possible to get a photo that is optimal.

There was a potential sighting on Tuesday, May 23 at approximately 2 PM. There was a dog in the fields across from Longview barns on Central Saanich Rd. The reporter did not recall seeing a harness or a lead. But the dog did have a white blaze on her chest and it was approximately the same size. Because of that sight we shifted around our sign boards last night, and have several more up now.

‼️ Was wearing a purple harness and trailing a purple 6 foot lead but these are most likely off of her now according to potential sightings ‼️

Natalie is missing in Central Saanich. She is fearful and will run.
6400 blk Sunny Slope. Was seen KEATING headed towards the highway. Has potentially been seen in Central Saanich and even North Saanich since then.
Natalie is fully tagged and *was initially* wearing a harness and trailing a leash. (These are very likely off of her now according to potential sightings.) If you see her, please call us immediately. There are people in the area searching for her now and she will go to them. We also have a FULL Team that has been on this case since day one. We are ready to roll in a moment's notice and have been diligently checking out every sighting very thoroughly, often times using cameras and feeding stations/traps.

As things get drier, stay alert for spear grass! ☀

Please be aware of where you let your dog run and play, and check your dog over thoroughly after being outside. Even one piece of spear grass on the sidewalk can latch on to the bottom of your pup's foot and work its way in to cause painful issues!

Ask poor Emma! Her neighbourhood is lousy with it and the poor, sad dog got it lodged in both paws last summer (and her human is still feeling guilty). She is doing better this year after getting her paws trimmed, but ... constant vigilance is essential.

Be sure to check between your dog's toes, in and around the ears, around the haunches, front leg pits, inner thighs -- well, everywhere!

Our neighbours dog has fallen ill and as a student he is struggling to pay for the hospital and vet bills. We all know what it’s like to love our dogs and how distressing it is when they are unwell. He is doing all he can to get her better. Pleas help if you can.
