Why we chose this fabric ☀️
Two years ago, we created our first cooling bandana out of necessity for our dog Dakota, when our A/C failed and she started panting dangerously. Ensuring our dogs’ safety is our top priority, especially with Dakota being a northern breed, making summer heat particularly challenging.
The cooling bandana quickly became indispensable in our household, accompanying us on road trips, camping, and hikes. Its compact size made it easy to carry in a bag or our trusty dog walking f***y pack.
Living on Vancouver Island, essentially a rainforest, means we don’t face snowy winters but endure heavy rainfall in fall and winter. Our fabric choice reflects this environment, ensuring Dakota stays comfortable amidst the island’s mix of ocean waters, lakes, rain, mud, and sunshine.
