Hi all! 🤗 Please share!!

With the new update that I will no longer be offering my pet-sitting service at all, I wanted to let folks know that my business is otherwise still running as per usual! With your summer time dog-walkers going back to school, you may be on the hunt for someone reliable to walk your pups when you’re at work! Look no further 🤗

Services I offer:
- 30 min solo neighborhood walk: $15
- 1 hr solo neighborhood walk: $30
- 1 hr group neighborhood walk: $25
- 2 hr group adventure hike: $40
- hourly day time pet-sitting: $20 per hour
- drop-in visits: $25 for one daily visit or $40 for two

At the end of each walk, I will send you a screenshot of the gps map of our walk which also shows how long we walked for and how far we walked. I also add any important notes of the walk, for example if they took a p**p, if they made friends with other dogs during the walk, etc.

I operate Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm though I will work out of those days and times if requested for a small surcharge ☺️

I offer;
half-hour walks = $15
1-hour solo = $30
1-hour group = $25
2-hour adventure hike = $40
drop-in visits = $25 for one daily visit or $40 for two.

I'm based out of Colwood near Royal Bay. I work in a standard 7.5 km radius of my home, but still offer my services out of that radius for $2.50 per km driven outside of that radius. I'm insured and bonded through Profur insurance and I have my canine first aid certification. I also have previous experience working with pets when I worked at a local vet hospital.

I offer my standard working hours from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, but will work outside of those hours for an additional $5 surcharge. I will work on weekends for an additional $5 surcharge, and Stat holidays for time and a half of the cost of the service (ex. adventure hike at $40 would be $60). Drop-in visits are excluded from the weekend surcharge and out of the standard working hours surcharge.

I have a 24 hour cancellation and no-show policy. If you cancel an appointment within 24 hours of the agreed upon start time, or you no-show (ex. you forget to leave me a key to the house or you leave on vacation with your pets without notifying me) the fee will be 100% of the service fee for that day.

For my clients, I have an app that tracks me during the walk which I will screen shot and send to the client once the walk is done. You can see the route we took, how long the walk was and how far we walked in that time. If you request photos to be taken during our walks, please notify me (I typically don't take photos unless requested as it depletes my phone battery which I need for the gps tracker).

Happy birthday to me! As my gift to you in celebration of another rotation around the sun, I am offering 29% off to new clients for their first 3 months (90 days from when they sign up). This offer covers services, but not surcharges (e.g. additional dog, out-of-radius, etc.). For people who are already my clients, when you refer a friend who signs up for weekly dog-walking, both you and your friend receive 29% off of service fees for your next 3 months (90 days from when your friend signs up). These promos do not stack. As a reminder, if you sign up for weekly dog-walking, you unlock the pet-sitting service!

Over the course of running my business, changes have been made. To keep everyone in the loop, here is an updated chart of my prices and surcharges. You will notice that as of today I will only be accepting pet-sitting clients who have already committed to weekly dog-walking. This is to help bring in a more steady income as I hope to do this continuously as well as to help myself time manage myself better. Additionally, regarding the pet-sitting service, I will not be accepting contracts that are longer than 2 weeks in duration. The surcharge for "Outside 7.5 km working radius" is applied to every walk that you sign up for, however for pet-sitting it is only applied once rather than to every day that the contract is for. Another quick FAQ post.

This is my general working vicinity, operating out of my Colwood home. For those of you who may be wondering "Am I in the radius?" this is a quick glimpse of the map I use. As you can see, I provide services to Colwood, Metchosin, Langford, View Royal, and even bits of Esquimalt. If you are out of this radius, I will still provide my services to you, but for a $2.50 per km surcharge included in your quote.

Reaching the end of my first work week with now accepting clients and I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has been sharing my posts on their stories and on Facebook. It means the absolute world to me seeing you support my business. As of today, I now have two clients signed up for weekly walks with another client who has signed up for the house-sitting service!

Last post of the day, I promise lol Meet...me! I'm Natalie, but I also go by Nat. I was born and raised in Victoria and grew up with many different pets. From dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, rabbits, and ferrets! I currently have two cats of my own that you may see me post about from time to time (Mazikeen and Eve). Besides taking care of pets for friends and family when they are away, I also have experience from my time working at a local vet emergency hospital. I also have my canine first aid certification from DogSafe and Nat's Cat & Dog Care is insured and bonded with ProFur Insurance. Though I will be doing this Monday through Friday, I also work on the weekends at my part-time job. If you need me to take care of your furry friend on the weekend, please get into contact with me and hopefully we can work something out.

Natalie of Nat’s Cat & Dog Care recieved her canine first aid certification as of February 17, 2023! 🥳🦮🐕‍🦺

As an update: we now have our business license ✅ however, we’re still waiting to get our insurance plan in order. Once that is complete we’ll be ready to go.
