Ever since we were kids, our parents had something growing in the ground. We have fond memories of pulling carrots, picking berries and enjoying what grows under the sun. We're Adam and Heather, and we care about good food. Since our kids were small, we've always had a backyard garden and enjoyed as many vegetables as we can grow. We care about teaching our kids where their veggies come from, and
so our girls are going to be a big part of "the Farm's" operations. Adam's mom Vivian and her partner Ian are also a huge part of this project. Vivian starts the plants. Adam and Heather and the girls will make sure the plants and veggies (and occasional loaf of bread) make it to the end of the driveway :)
The Farm at Goldstream is about community - the plants, veggies and bread sold here are for the residents of this neighbourhood. We want to connect and enjoy your growing stories! We also care about sustainability and taking care of the resources. The stand is made from recycled wood. We'll reuse plant pots over and over, as many times as we can. We really look forward to you visiting us here on 'South Cressida'.
