We are a fully insured small scale home dog boarding service, where we love your pets like our own. Westshore Wags offers small scale in-home dog boarding.

With only a small amount of dogs, your furry friend is treated as a member of our family with as much love and attention as they can handle. Located along the scenic Galloping Goose Trail in the Glenlake area, the dogs have access to the house and a large fully fenced backyard. I have 15+ years experience in many areas of the pet industry, including training, walking and boarding. I'm more than ha

Things have been fairly quiet on here, but I can assure you that they are not quiet in real life! 😂. I thought I’d share a few pictures of some of my new friends that I get to visit with each week ❤️. Im no longer accepting boarding clients, but I do have a space or 2 starting in October for walks/ potty visits in the Royal Bay/ Happy Valley/ Westhills and the spaces in between!

Another sad goodbye yesterday! I’ve been visiting Hurley and Koloa for many years since Koloa was just a young lady. She has grown into such a sweet, lovely and unique girl and I’m privileged to be in her circle. Hurley has aged so gracefully and was always such a joy to visit! These two are celebrating their luck that their mom is now going to be home to cater to their every whim and desire! Lucky pups ❤️ You’ll be missed!

I’m so excited to introduce sweet little Daisy this week! I’ve known Daisy since she did training with me as a wee little pup, and now I’m lucky to be able to get to spend part of my day with her. ❤️. Welcome Daisy!

Last week brought me 2 more goodbyes, each more difficult than the last. On Friday night, Farley’s family had to make the sudden and difficult decision to put him to rest. We had been aware of some tumours for a while but it still never prepared you for those final moments. Rest in Peace Farley 💔

And then for the most difficult goodbye I’ve ever had. My Mom suddenly passed away this weekend. She was a wonderful human and an ambassador for Bernese Mountain Dogs and responsible breeding practices. She was a wealth of knowledge, and was always so generous with her time. She loved fiercely and will be so missed by so many. Thank you so much to my amazing clients who have allowed me to take a bit of time to process things❤️

Here’s to hoping the universe has something good up it’s sleeve for me soon! 🤞

Goodbyes are always hard and today brought me 2 of them! 😭

Little Katana came to me as a the cutest teeny little puppy with a peg leg who needed to be carried everywhere! She matured into a beautiful and kind girl, and this week she’ll head towards her new home a couple of provinces away! I’ll miss her sweet scruffy little face.

And the next is one of the hardest goodbyes I’ve ever had. Floki started coming here due to some very unfortunate circumstances. We learned no toys were safe in his presence, and I just stopped buying any treats with chicken because Floki couldn’t have them. He was here so much, he quickly became family. He fit in like a dream, and enjoyed the company of our dogs so much that in the midst of dealing with a terminal health diagnosis, they welcomed sweet Baby Poppy into their family as Floki’s emotional support puppy. Those 2 are such a great match for each other, and today, they accompanied their mom on an airplane and moved onto some new beginnings. Our house feels truly empty without them.

I love what I do, but today was tough! 💔
