Exciting news! I have booked the Colwood Community Hall for pet and people portrait sessions. There are only a handful of spots available, so if you are interested in securing a time, let me know.

Dates are:

Earlier this week I was given the opportunity to create some very special portraits. I spent nearly 3 hours with this gentleman and his 14 year old
It was a great day and I made a lot of great portraits, but this one stood out to me. I feel that it speaks volumes about the bond that these two share.

Back in August I had the opportunity to photograph a friends dog, Pancho. Pancho passed away later in 2020, completely devastating my pal. - Kuma is the model for this post, she was a tank of a dog, a peace keeper, subtle enforcer of the rules, and a very sweet pupper. It was an honor to work with her!

I am happy to report that I am ready to book a few K9 Sessions at the studio! I have 6 appointment spaces available on August 8th beginning at 10:00am. There is plenty of time between sessions for cleaning, plenty of room for social distancing in the studio, and I kindly ask that masks be worn (people only) during the session. Please DM for more information and to book one of these limited sessions. I look forward to seeing you and your furry friends!

Here's a little video I put together of Lexi's first time in the new studio. She was a little unsure at the beginning, new place, strange noises, etc. She is so good though. BTW, this is how I like to work with client dogs as well. Easy pace set by the dog, good treats, and a relaxed atmosphere.

It’s been a while since we last hung out in a studio! Good times!

It’s been a long road, no question. But as long as we can look forward and keep putting one foot in front of the other we will continue to make progress towards our goals. Appreciate the distance covered, enjoy the place where you are, and look forward with enthusiasm. We will get through this.
With this in mind, I am pleased to report that I have taken a step forward. After six years, I once again have a photo studio to work in! Over the next few weeks I will be doing some test shoots to get acquainted with the space and equipment. I anticipate that I will be ready to welcome you to the space for K9 photos, corporate headshots, and maybe even some family sessions by mid July. I look forward to seeing you... at a socially acceptable distance.

I had planned to open up booking for ‘The K9 Sessions’ this weekend, but it seems that the world had other plans. In the interest of safety for my clients, friends, family, and co-workers, we are practicing some social distancing measures.
