Doug built the cabinet circled and the one above it to replace the unused stove. To save my back I asked him to eliminate the kick under the cabinet door so I could slide kitty litter bags (30 KG) in there easily. He simply added the kick to the cabinet door and voila…..purr-fect storage cupboard! Now all the litter containers are hidden away! Super helpful!

Thanks Doug for you’re amazing craftsmanship getting all the quirky things built and attached safely ready for guests to check in again after 7 weeks of renovations! Thanks to Doug’s coworkers at West Isle Manufacturing, Kevin for finishing the cabinet doors and barn door, and Mike for work on the CNC programs for the cat screen door inserts and Sean for helping with hardware purchasing. Thanks to Colonial Countertops for my awesome countertops and sink/faucet. Thanks Dave for the cool circular branch it has found a home at the floating check in desk! We took the unused cabinet from above the fridge and made a desk at the door! Doug’s handy work again!
Lots of new beams and ramps for my guests to use!

Soooooo…..here’s the biggest change to the Cat Hotel……we are still working on getting the punch list done for reopening ...

Tiger is the only guest on the Catio today as the others are enjoying the new heat pump keeping things cool and comfy inside the Cat Hotel….He sounds very happy regardless….purr machine….

Yup, this is a rare case of “Jasper watching Jasper” 😺👀

This is Miss Luka, she’s been fetching since she was a kitten. When I finally started videoing her she had done about a dozen fetches and was finally getting tired of it…She retrieves things and leaves them directly in front of you. Over and over… Recently had a guest who has mastered opening lever doors like we have on the bathroom door and laundry closet door in the hotel. Every morning I would find both those doors wide open and drawers open in the bathroom lol. It's always interesting around here!

Brother and sister Benny and Bug like to be feisty at times while looking adorable while doing so!

Baby Mango is like a wind up toy! He is also excellent at playing fetch! Purrs up a storm and is too cute for his own good! ✨❤️✨
