Some souls arrive exactly when they are needed most. Baz came into her forever home later in life, and in doing so, became the very center of her family’s universe. 🌎 She was cherished, adored beyond measure, and given the most beautiful “cat retirement” imaginable - filled with cozy beds, towering cat trees, endless toys, and a constant rhythm of love and cuddles.
Her loving parents stood faithfully by her side through her journey, tending to her with unwavering devotion and around-the-clock care. Every moment of her final years was wrapped in comfort, dignity, and profound love. Though their time together was far too short, the bond they shared was timeless.
Baz was deeply known, endlessly loved, and will always be a part of the home and hearts she so completely filled.

“Baz
October 2012 – December 12, 2025
Baz came into our lives late, after living 10 years with other families. She immediately became the center of our world. She loved to snuggle, tear her toys to shreds, and find silly places to hide. She also loved to bug us when we were trying to work, by climbing across our keyboards and making lots of noise when we were on the phone.
Her warmth made our house into a home and although we only got three wonderful years with her, it feels like we had her for a lifetime. For that, we are forever grateful.
Our house will never be the same without her. We will miss you forever, Bazzy booboo.“

Maxwell was a heart dog in every sense - endlessly affectionate, joy-filled, and never quite close enough to the people he loved most. His life was rich with connection, comfort, and the simple pleasures that made him who he was: warm snuggles, beach adventures chasing the waves, and a deep love of food. He was profoundly fortunate to be cherished by a devoted family who made his world safe, joyful, and full of love until his final goodbye.

“Maxwell was the most affectionate and loving dog to his family.  He could never be close enough and often would be on top of you lol.  He loved trips to the beach where he would chase the waves, and he loved food!!

I would like to thank Dr Vanessa and Kristin for helping us through this process.  It was the hardest decision our family has ever had to make, but being able to say goodbye in our own home comfortably was very special.”

Taken far too soon, her eight short years were filled with devotion, dignity, and deep trust. She was profoundly fortunate to be cherished by a family who adored her completely and walked beside her with unwavering love until her final moment.

Our first and only cat, you will be treasured forever like the gem that you are. The most considerate and graceful cat, you showed us your royalty and class, keeping your dignified composure until your final moment. You tolerated our move from Burnaby to Victoria and always trusted us as your adoring guardians.
We thought you would enjoy an early retirement here in beautiful Victoria, however you left us far too soon. You shone brightly in your 8 short years. The most prim and angelic looking cat, we will never forget how arresting your little face was. You will always be a part of our family and live in our hearts forever. Koa was a truly special soul, carrying a quiet wisdom and depth that could be felt by everyone who met her. With her big brown eyes, she had a way of connecting that went far beyond words. She found happiness in life’s simple comforts beside the people she loved most.

On Christmas Day, Koa showed her family one final act of grace, becoming a true Christmas angel. Surrounded by those who adored her, she found peace in the comfort of home, held in love as she gently let go.

The space Koa leaves behind is immense, but so is the love she gave. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her spirit will forever remain woven into the hearts of those who were lucky enough to call her family.

“Koa was a once in a life time dog. She was an old soul even as a puppy, and could look straight into your spirit with her big brown eyes. She was happiest when covered in sand, rolling around on the beach, and on the couch eating popcorn with her humans. We feel the loss of her presence immensely- she will be deeply missed. 
We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Vanessa and her team, who made it possible for us to let her go in the peace of our home. They drove very far out of their way, on Christmas day no less, to help us.”

In Loving memory of Jasmine & Lexie ❤️

We are remembering two very special souls today - Jasmine (“Jassy Bear”) and Lexie (“Lou-Lou”). These sweet girls were more than pets; they were companions, protectors, and cherished members of their family, whose love and loyalty left a lasting mark on everyone who knew them.

Jasmine was rescued from the streets of Los Angeles and brought to Canada for a new life. Gentle and nurturing, she became a caregiver and formed an unbreakable bond with Lexie. Lexie, a brave little survivor, also rescued from Los Angeles, became a loyal protector and steadfast companion. Together, they balanced each other perfectly - heart and shield, inseparable, and deeply loved.

Losing them so close together undoubtedly leaves a heartbreak beyond words. Their love, devotion, and joy will always remain in the hearts of those who loved them.

Run free, sweet girls, together again across the rainbow bridge.🐾🌈❤️

Skye was a deeply loved soul whose gentle presence filled every room she entered. A happy, sweet mini golden doodle, she lived a beautiful long life surrounded by love, laughter, and devotion. Though fifteen years still never feels like enough, Skye’s spirit, tenderness, and the nightly rituals she shared with her family will forever remain held in their hearts.
Always a good girl. Always loved. Always remembered🐾🌈❤️
Her family shared these heartfelt memories of their beloved Skye:

“We lost our precious Skye, a mini golden doodle, last month at the age of 15. She was a happy girl who loved everyone. She was funny and smart, calm, playful and loving. We appreciate that we had her for such a long time, however it is never enough. We loved her to bits and miss her dearly.  

Every night we said this to her at bedtime.
