FLED – Find Lost & Escaped Dogs Vancouver Island is a registered charity established January 2013 in response to the number of pets that go missing.
We post lost and found dogs from anywhere on Vancouver Island, and do our best to physically assist Island owners with finding their lost animals.
We assist by phone, text or email, and help with advice to anyone needing help with lost animals, throughout Canada
We assist owners with networking, posters, ground searching and where necessary, we will humanely trap.
Our 5th Wheel trailer is equipped with stretchers, inferred trail cameras, heat sensor, hand held camera, live humane traps, printers, human and animal first aid kits, leashes, blankets, etc. used when we have a dog sighted in one area and needs to be trapped.
We can set up on most sites and stay to monitor and trap a dog.
