Hello again,
Another post! Two in one day is bit much for me but here goes.
If you are someone who travels to the US or through the US to Mexico as of August 1, 2024 things will have changed. New Information For BC Veterinarians About Dogs Entering Or Returning To The United States
August 1, 2024
Starting on August 1, 2024, dogs entering or returning to the United States must meet new, specific requirements depending on where they have been in the 6 months before entering the U.S. and where they received their rabies vaccines (if required). All dogs must be at least 6 months of age, have an implanted International Organization for Standardization (ISO)-compatible microchip, and appear healthy upon arrival, in addition to other mandatory documentation. For official information, please see the CDC news release at this link. Please feel free to share this information with your clients.
