Hey Hey, it’s #canandianagday !! BEYOND proud to live this lifestyle!
Sure am enjoying watching this guy grow up!

“Are you gonna get going or should I just do it myself?” - Juicebox, 3 yr old gelding.
How do you get a well rounded horse? Use them. Ride them outside. Give them a job. It’s not always about drilling them in the arena 😉
Does your horse travel out alone like this?
If not, I can help!

Chester, standing like a broke horse should!
I can’t believe this guy is still around! He’s one heck of a horse, with an unmatchable work ethic. If you’re looking for something safe and solid shoot me a message to set up a viewing!
“Poncho” checking on the babies. This guy has been with me since the beginning of the month and is coming along great!

THIS is why I rope my colts, feet and all. 🙌🏻 Thankful I didn’t have a vet bill or worse on this coming 2 year old.
This is life, 💩 happens! Train your horses, and take the time to concentrate on their foundation. Your horses (and your pocketbook) will thank you!
“Why won’t my horse…”
It is so easy to get caught up and frustrated with our horses not responding and conducting themselves as expected. There’s a few things to consider in situations like this.
First and formost, is the horse in pain? If that is ruled out the next thing to consider is:
-Does the horse know what is being asked of him?
-Has he been taught and given the confidence to succeed at the task?
-Is the horse physically and mentally capable of doing the task he’s being asked to do at this point in his life?
Just a little #thoughtfulthursday! I’m just as guilty of expecting way too much out of a horse as the next guy. When this happens, I try to take a step back and ride the horse that’s under me, not the horse I thought was under me.
Its usually a horse not understanding a task rather than him purposely not doing a task. Address the basics!! Putting the cart before the horse almost always ends up in a pileup 😉
Some bridleless work on Gru last night, soaking up the last of the beautiful evenings and finishing up 60 days on this guy.
Juicebox; the only personal horse I kept throughout the huge changes this year has brought for me.
For those of you who know me personally, you know how much this little yellow horse means to me. I put his first ride on him, and did it bareback. Horses like this are few and far between, but man does it feel good to know I own one of the good ones.
Freckles 💞
This mare is the sweetest! Plus she rides bridleless😉 If you’re looking for a super wicked little mare, she’s your girl! Would make a fabulous 4h/youth mount.
