We don't always need to post warnings about extreme heat in early July but we do this year. Especially today 38c plus.

People should not leave pets or children in the car.

Please be aware and leave pets at home and have fresh water available.

If walking your dog try to avoid the hottest part of the day and avoid hot pavement or sidewalks as they could burn their foot pads.

As some of you may know or not but my son Harry passed away 1.5 years ago. He was airlifted by Stars ambulance from Smoky lake to Edmonton hospital. I'm going to be arranging a funday in his memory next year and to say a proper good bye. So from now until next year I will be raising money for stars.
