This dude is a chunk of a c**t with a tonne of eye appeal and a little chrome to boot. He’s got the pedigree to show in both the roping and the barrels. His Dam is a daughter of one of the coolest horses we’ve seen; “Irish Pay” (a true run on cow cross that are proven winners) and out of a daughter of the legendary millionaire stallion “Frenchmans Fabulous”. Smooth Paying Guy’s sire “Hagans Smooth Kruzin” is a winner in the barrel and roping pen. He is just a super easy cool horse to ride and his oldest c**ts are showing amazing athleticism and extremely willing minds.

Last night was an extremely proud moment for us. To most it won’t seem like a big deal but last night was the first time our Slademan (11 years old) rope off of our home raised stallion Hagans Smooth Kruzin aka Mannie. ❤️
When we started our breeding program we had a vision and although the journey of this program is still in the beginning stages it makes it all worth it when we watching this!!

What a Crackout weekend for the one and only 🥰 Mannie (Hagans smooth Kruzin) was hitting home runs all weekend long!!

Crazy as I wasn’t sure I would even run him this year? But with everyone pulling off these great events this fall Mannie got to leave the ranch.

Started with team roping at the “Casey Brown”; he worked great all day!
Sunday and Monday he hit the barrel pen and finished in the 1D on both runs!!!

Well I loaded up my man and I headed out west to the Chief Mountain Futurity and Derby.
We had two nice runs and were oh so close to making it back to the short go.

Next stop for Mannie is the Manitoba Rope Horse Futurity.

Honestly hard to explain how proud I am of him ... win or lose. It’s truly a long journey and major commitment to raise one out of your favourite horse, keep him healthy , get him started then train him yourself with hope you have the knowledge to allow him to reach his true potential. Then put him in the trailer and haul him somewhere, anywhere to show him too the world. Stack him up against his peers and allow him to be judged by the public. ..
It is not easy but it is what the game is all about!! I’m enjoying the journey and it’s feels like it’s just begun ❤️
