I recently had the pleasure of working with CCK9 ( Perry and Sarena )and cannot recommend their services highly enough.

The level of knowledge and patience they displayed while training me and my dog was truly remarkable. The training sessions were tailored to my dog's specific needs, and the results were noticeable almost immediately.

CCk9 understands canine behavior but also effectively communicates what my dog is looking for from me as a better leader. My dog is now more calm, attentitve and well balanced after just a couple sessions and I feel more confident as a pet owner in real life scenarios... Im looking forward to more levels that me and my dog can reach in the next few sessions.

My husband knew right away that Apple Fritter was the right puppy for our family. We researched the breed and decided that this high-energy herding dog was perfect for us, but we would need someone to show us how to train him properly.

Kevin found Command Control K9 online, and after reading so many positive reviews about training without treats, and how easy it was to learn their method, we made an appointment for our first lesson.

I should also say that before our first session, we were curious to see if leash training would be too harsh for our new puppy. It wasn't, and we now enjoy walks with Fritter who is well behaved and happy to walk along nicely beside us.

Thank you to Perry and his team for teaching us the basic obedience skills. We have already signed up for the second round and look forward to the off-leash training as well.

Communicating with your dog is of utmost importance in building a strong and trusting relationship. Constant vocal contact serves as a means of conveying your expectations and commands to your dog. By using consistent and clear verbal cues, you establish a language that your dog can understand and respond to. Whether it's praising them for good behavior or redirecting them from unwanted actions, your words and tone of voice play a crucial role in guiding and shaping their behavior.

When working with your dog, communication factors in about 80% of the equation. It is the handler's responsibility to make decisions and provide clear instructions to the dog. Without proper communication, the dog may become unsure or confused about what is expected of them. For example, if you want your dog to sit and you do not vocalize the command, the dog may not understand what you want and fail to comply. By using precise and direct vocal cues, you can effectively communicate your expectations and ensure that your dog understands what is required of them.
