It’s been a dry year here on the ranch but we are feeling very fortunate to have our lush meadows. Makin cow chow as my hubby says 🙃 Oh and I’ll be sneaking some of that green goodness for my Laumbach Cattle Co. Quarter Horses as our upland did not produce well with the lack of rain fall this spring. Ranch life is a good life!

#3 foal - This wish list buckskin c**t was born July 12th and definitely worth the wait. This is the first c**t that Running Two Kat has had for us, every year she has given us beautiful fillies. This guy is exactly what I ordered up, gotta love it when that happens! If he is anything like his sisters he’s going to be something special :)

Waylon, our 2019 gelding out of RC Quincys Chica (same mare that had the good looking bay roan c**t yesterday) made the long trip to his new home in Grande Prairie last week.

Waylon sustained a substantial injury as a yearling and I spent months treating him, so with that we understandably became quite attached. He sports some nasty scars as a reminder but none of that takes away from the great horse he is and will continue to become with his new owners in the saddle.

This was a tough one to see go but it makes it easier when I know he went to a good family.

Foal #2 - Bay roan c**t with no white. It’s been a wait and I’m not the only one that feels that way. Peppys Lenin Heart (our first foal) is excited to have someone her size around.

First saddling and ride on this little beauty since she got home from the trainers last fall. All I can say is wow, she is a gem. She even helped move some yearlings out to pasture and didn’t flinch when the little buggers were ripping around her in all directions! Just another great minded baby by Peppy Kilocat aka Johnny.

This special two year old c**t, “Jack” made his way to his new home at MJT Cattle Co. (Hereford & Angus) and his new owners Ilette Coetzer and Pierre Coetzer this past weekend. We are thrilled as we know they are going to do great things with this gorgeous guy. He couldn’t have gone to a more amazing couple! Jack is the complete package and has everything we strive for in our breeding program. Looking forward to watching the progress as you all create the outstanding ranch horse he is waiting to become ❤️

Foal #1 - Well it was definitely worth the wait 😍 Lenas Berry delivered a gorgeous filly this morning. This mare consistently puts big beautiful foals on the ground every year and has put an exclamation point on 2023! Correct, straight and colour to top it off.
