Update !!!!!! This is just from 1 Group that is Tracking this Issue, the group was started by the Lady who was the leader plantiff in the case against Hills a few years back, we are glad that this time someone is trying to track this before it comes to the Hills Issue
12/5/23 in my Saving Pets One Pet @ A Time group on Facebook we have 916 dogs / cats (689 dogs, and 235 cats) in USA Ireland,UK,Serbia, Hungry & Canada that are sick from Purina, 218 of which have died. The problem seems to date back to May 2023.
Update , since 12/5/23 in my Saving Pets One Pet @ A Time group on Facebook we have 884 dogs / cats (664 dogs, and 219 cats) in USA Ireland,UK,Serbia, Hungry & Canada that are sick from Purina, 205 of which have died. The problem seems to date back to May 2023.

Since 12/5/23 in Saving Pets One Pet @ A Time group on Facebook we have 784 dogs / cats (594 dogs, and 190 cats) in USA Ireland ,
UK,Serbia, Hungry & Canada that are sick from Purina, 180 of which have died. The problem seems to date back to May 2023. The common denominator was they were all eating Purina. Some of the homes and rescues have multiple pets who are impacted. This is just in one group. So we know the problem is widespread.The problem seems to date back to May 2023. I alerted 9 holistic vets and we started tracking the issues.
The tracking showed that the concerns are with all Purina brands and now we also have many sick dogs and cats eating these foods:
*Purina
*Instinct
*Stella and Chewy
*Pure Balance
*Royal Canin
*Merrick
*Orijen
*Organix
*Taste of the Wild
*Hills
*Acana
Many pet food manufacturers get their ingredients and vitamin mixes from the same supplier. So when one food has an issue many others do as well. This is what happened during the Vitamin D toxicity recall in 2019. It started out with Hills and then more brands because they all bought from that supplier. Thousands of other pets died from it. This is not hysteria, I assure you.
If you or someone you know is feeding this food (regardless of product line), I recommend you stop the food immediately. Do NOT wait until your pet gets sick or for the manufacturer to issue a recall. A lot of Pets died in 2019 from Hills Science Diet, 2 weeks BEFORE Hills issued the recall. Dogs/cats were sick for 6 months before the recall. The Lady that started the group thatās tracking this was the lead plaintiff in the lawsuit against Hills which we won.
These are only the foods we know of. However, just like in the Hills Science Diet there ended up being many more. If one food is bad they often are all bad. The manufacturers do NOT have different quality control processes for different foods. None of these manufacturers has not issued a recall yet, even though many pet parents have notified them. Please do NOT take a chance with your pets life.
Symptoms: Lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle weakness and seizures, rapid weight loss , excessive urination, re**al bleeding, vomiting blood, red/yellow eyes , excessive urination
Since 22/5/23, 213 dogs and cats (155 dogs, and 58 cats) are sick eating Purina, 57 of which have died.( and Counting)
It seems to be from all different types of Purina, with Purina Pro Plan being the most common. If you or someone you know is feeding this food, I would stop immediately! Do NOT wait until your pet gets sick or Purina issues a recall.
Here we go again , just like Hills Science Diet a few years back , this time itās Nestle the Maker of Purina Pet Foods that is going to KILL many pets before doing anything about it and then pay out a minimal Settlement
The FDA is launching an investigation thanks to Susan Thixton from The Truth About Pet Food but it will take months to figure out what is going on due to the lack of cooperation they will get from Purina
We keep preaching ( as some have accused us) that we will never sell these Brands in our stores and here is yet another reason not to.
