Just a few Canada Day shots from River Ridge. This year, our nation's birthday marks not only a day to celebrate but also, very sadly, a day to mourn. The orange maple leaves in Gem's mane pay small homage to the lives lost in residential schools and the deep sorrow the government brought to our indigenous families. May all Canadians be united in our grief.
