This week's we have Vidar!

Vidar is 10-week-old Dogue de Bordeaux who was in for some vaccines and a microchip.

Did you know that the Dogue de Bordeaux was originally used in France as a guardian and war dog. In modern times, the breed is virtually known by the 1989 release of the movie “Turner & Hooch.” The comedy, starring Tom Hanks as a police detective assisted by a drooling, stubborn, but lovable Dogue, introduced the breed to audiences around the world.

Well…. The house officially has the empty feeling. 🥺

I have been trying so hard to be happy for all the puppy parents who now have a piece of my heart… but tonight I just feel a bit sad and missing them all. All the puppy breath kisses, and silly quirks, and snores, and antics, and poops and p*es, and mess, and cuteness overload.

Excuse me while I cry SAD tears tonight. Tomorrow I will get to keep hearing all the wonderful stories from our puppy families about their new homes and it will fill me back up with joy.

But tonight, I’m just letting myself be sad 😭

🚨 BREAKING NEWS!!!

Black girl has finally found her people!!!! It was a bit of a journey but every puppy is now spoken for and there’s nothing I can say but THANK YOU. Thank you to everyone who has shared, liked, commented and told friends.

I believe fully that every single one of the 9 puppies I have raised will be going to spectacular homes. ☺️💕🐾

Vider (Vee-der) aka Naked Boy is the first to fly the coop. He went to his new home today with his owners Jeff, Cynthia, and Elizabeth and his new big brother Odin.

All my love sweet little man, you were the biggest pain in the butt to bottle feed, but my goodness you brought us so many laughs and cuddles during your young life. You took a piece of my heart with you as your siblings will when they go too. 🥹 Only happy tears over the next few days. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’m just glad these babies don’t speak or understand English…

Black Girl’s home has gone MIA and she is now still looking for her people. 😢 This is honestly the really sad and challenging part of trying to find good quality homes. I have definitely filtered through some characters this litter and c’est la vie, but it is never the less disappointing.

If there is someone in Facebook land that wants a beautiful girl with a spicy side, please share this and send me a message. I will be making a trip to Alberta next week and again the weekend of December 10th.

Goofy sweet little pork chop still needs to find a home. We have had a few interested folks that haven’t committed and ultimately she needs to find her people.

She is so amazing and Aran definitely has a soft spot for little miss chunksalot. She is going to be a big girl with a beautiful face. Just look at that wide head and wrinkles! A true show stoppper even if she is big b***d. 🤣

She is very food motivated and of the girls - she is the most laid back of the bunch. Please message me if you’re interested in this lady.

My two best girls…. I bonded with all of the pups and saying goodbye to them will all certainly be emotional, but these two little ladies are extra special in my heart.

Wow you guys!! The girls are flying off the shelf this weekend. We are now down to one black girl and little multi is on hold temporarily 😉

Black girl is an independent woman and has been since the beginning. She is very confident and playful and loves adventure and checking out new things. She is more rambunctious with her litter mates and would do great in a home with a mature dog to guide her or as a single dog home.

As you can see though she also has an affectionate side to her so don’t let her sassy attitude fool you, she is a big suck at the end of the day - like they all are. ❤️🥰

The next two weeks are going to be a lot of fun!

A bit more individualized time with humans away from the group to help them when they leave, and also exposes them to more of the normal household life. Not to mention some playtime with mom ❤️

The real search for families starts now!! Puppies are sold on non-breeding contracts, come with a one year health guarantee, vaccinated and dewormed, from health tested parents. 

Sorry guys, not my best camera work and poor lighting this morning. I might try a few more again this afternoon for fun after baths.

Bored puppies are unhappy puppies…. And that is why we love keeping them entertained! they are loving the new bite-able toys and plushies.

At this stage it is SO NORMAL and important for them to learn all about biting and exploring with their mouths. They learn bite inhibition from their siblings, as well as exploring the big wide world!

Another feeding time down! The mess is getting to be more and more every day now! Bigger p*es and poos which mean growing fat little sausage rolls.

Tomorrow is 5 weeks old and we will have a busy day! First bath, photoshoot and announcement of who has homes and who is still looking. ❤️🐾
