We are finishing off the year with an amazing $400 discount on our 3 or 4 week board and train program for the rest of November or December 2024! This will get your dogs out from underfoot while you're decorating the house, cooking, baking, and preparing for the holidays. AUSSIE the 1.5 year old Aussie/Shepherd has officially been bathed and gone home from his 3 week board and train program!!

When Aussie first arrived he was VERY vocal, bouncy and demanding. Aussie didn't understand people didn't want him jumping all over them and knocking them over, he also didn't realize that barking, pawing and whining demanding attention doesn't work either!

Aussie had a very hard time staying still, let alone relaxing when he needed to, but with proper structure, routine and guidance, he has made a complete turnaround!🥰👏👏

Aussie now listens to his name and the commands being given the first time it's asked of him, he's a dream to walk on a nice, loose leash and most of all he can relax on Place even when things are happening around him!

This was a very important skill Aussie needed, especially because he's getting neutered this week and if he didn't have that "off" switch, he would have been next time impossible to keep quiet and control when he's healing.
Now Aussie's family doesn't have to worry about him running, jumping and possibly ripping his stitches open and making the healing process even longer!

I'm so excited for updates from Aussie's family and we'll see him again soon!🥰👏👏

We had a very creative Wizard of Oz group, and I couldn't resist a runner up winner of the cutest Sheriff around!😍

AUSSIE, the 1 year old Australian Shepherd/Poodle mix is here for a 3 week board and train program!

Aussie a very sweet boy who needs to understand he's actually the dog and not the boss of the house🤣

Aussie will be mastering all of his basic obedience commands during his time here, as well as loose leash walking.  Aussie is already understanding that jumping on humans, whining and barking to demand what he wants isn't getting him anywhere anymore!

Aussie also has a heart murmur, so learning to relax his mind and body, even with limited exercise is going to be a big focus too! 

Aussie has already come so far in just 6 days!  He loves to learn and impress his humans😉

Happy heavenly birthday to my one and only girl, my Mazikeen 🥺❤️🐶

You would have been 3 years old today with so much life left to live, I'm so sorry it got cut so short.
You've been gone longer than I had you, longer than you were on this earth and each and everyday is still such a struggle, you left such an impact on me and everyone else's lives you came into and you are dearly missed.

I love you, I think about you everyday, I look at your pictures every morning. I love you so much Mazikeen, always and forever. I miss you so much, I hope all your doggy friends are spoiling you until I can❤️

SUNNY attended her parents wedding this weekend and I think her happy face says it all🌞❤️🥰
Sunny was estatic to have been able to have been apart of her parents special day and I am honoured I was able to help make their day that much more special by making sure their furry baby was there 😍❤️🐶🐶

Sunny got to be included in some family photos, she got a pretty flower collar and she got to greet all the guests as they arrived! Sunny did such an amazing job on such a busy day!

Congratulations again to the beautiful bride and groom and Sunny too of course! We all wish you a lifetime of happiness 🐶❤️

RIO has been here for the last week for structured boarding while his parents are on their honeymoon!😍😍

Rio completed a 4 week board and train program a year ago and his parents have been (trying😉) to keep up with his training and it shows!
I love when the dogs can come back here already knowing the rules & expectations of the house.
It makes life much easier, I don't need to start from scratch with them and they can help assist me with the new training dogs 🥰

Sometimes they need a refresher or two, but luckily I offer refresher sessions once a month for a year after board and train programs are complete!!

We love having Rio here and I'm so happy to see his confidence soaring when playing with other dogs🥰👏👏

Did you know that Paige's Pet Services offers wedding services?!😍

Archie and Benson parents sure did and they took full advantage of my services so that their furry babies could be part of their special day 🥰❤️❤️

Archie and Benson got to be involved in the wedding photos, the ceremony by being walked down the aisle, they stayed to watch their parents seal their promise with a kiss and greeted all the guests too🥰😍

The boys did SO well and I'm so proud of them🥰❤️👏👏 

Training made this all possible so the day wasn't chaotic with dogs barking or jumping all over guests or mommy in her white dress, they didn't pull anyone over being walked down the aisle or interrupt the ceremony!
(Benson only peed on Archie once, but we won't talk about that🤣🙈)

Congratulations again to the beautiful couple, it was a beautiful day full of love 🥰

APOLLO, the 4 year old Cane Corso is here for his 4 week board and train program!🥰🐶🐶

You may recognize this big boy, as he did complete a board and train program with me 3.5 years ago👨‍🎓
His family did an absolute fantastic job at keeping up with his obedience skills!  Everything I taught him is still very solid, even after almost 4 years!! 
The biggest thing we're working on during his time here is confidence building, especially around other dogs!   Unfortunately Apollo was attacked by an off leash dog and this caused a huge setback in his training and he's become very reactive anytime he sees one, which is understandable, he's lost trust in dogs so now he's scared and the easiest way to ensure they give him his space is if he acts scary!

This is so unfair to Apollo and his family that an off leash dog caused such a big setback even after all the time, effort and money was put into Apollo and he's not at fault!!
Apollo and his family can't enjoy a walk together because they're both so worried about coming across other dogs :(
I will be building trust in Apollo so that he knows his handler will always protect him, and I'll be teaching his parents new techniques and tools that can be used to help ensure dogs give them space!

Apollo has been here for a few days already and I'm very happy with him progress already! He's already starting to play with me now too!

I'm a bit late posting this, but ZEUS the 9 month old puppy went home from his 2 week e collar training and he absolutely thrived during his time here!

He understands that his commands are non negotiable, he understands that he can't be using his size to push people and dogs around, his recall is on point and he finally knows how to relax!🥰👏👏

His parents already gave an update and said the house is much more calm now, and with 3 dogs in the house, that's a huge win!

His family still has a lot of work to do, but they're seeing the results and loving them so I know they'll keep up the good work!
I'm super excited to see him again and get more updates!

NOOK the 1 year old Husky mix pup from Nunavut went home last week from his 3 week board and train!!!

Nook came here pulling his mom around on leash, ignoring his recall and running into highways, and overall just being a typical stubborn Husky who doesn't want to do as their told!

His family knew this was dangerous behaviour for them and Nook and they needed help!
I am so glad they reached out for training help! Not only was Nook an amazing student, and loved to learn, but his family thrived in the learning process too! Owners maintaining all the training that has been done is the most important part of all! If they don't follow through with what was taught and what works, everything falls apart and the dogs revert back to how they were previous to training!

Nook learned all of his basic commands while he was here, proper leash walking skills and we focused a lot of our time on his "out" and recall command as those will be absolutely lifesaving, especially being in Nunavut with wild animals, and traps!

His family has already given us a great update about his progress and he's absolutely loving the water now too!🥰

I'm so glad to have another success story! Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see Nook again in the future!!

ZEUS the 9 month old Cane Corso Rottweiler mix puppy is back for his 2 weeks of e collar training!

You might remember Zeus from back in January this year when he came here for his 2 week puppy board and train program, yes, he got BIG!!
(His puppy photo is the second picture)

Zeus knows he's a big boy and is trying to get pushy with his family and siblings, both human and dog.
He's back here to learn that he can't be using his size to bully others, he's also back to learn e collar pressure, solidify all of his commands he's trying to slack on and overall sharpening up those listening skills!

Zeus is already halfway through his e collar training and he's right where I wsnt him to be!
His focus is coming along, he's learning to listen the first time he's told to do something and his recall work is on point!

I'm so excited to see what else we can accomplish in this next week, but most importantly I'm super excited to get Zeus back to his family so they can continue training together and enjoy a long, happy life together 🥰❤️❤️

Bonzai has been here for the past couple weeks for structured boarding while his family is away traveling and he's been such a blast to have him stay with us🥰

This boy is a training veteran, he knows all of his commands solidly and is one of the few dogs I don't always crate and don't always have e collar on and I know I can trust him! (This is with years of practice and constant follow through of his commands) and he makes good choices! 🥰

Bonzai is always full of expressions and can always put a smile on everyone's faces! He especially takes all the attention with his gorgeous eyes that everyone comments on everytime without fail😅❤️❤️

This boy is always down for adventure whether it's a walk, hike or swim! I'm so glad we get a few more days with him before he goes back home!
