I am a Veterinary Technician and dog trainer with a passion for animals! I offer in home board and t I have been working with dogs my whole life.

I am a Dog Trainer and Veterinary Technician offering in home board and trains, structured boarding and more! I started pet sitting for neighbour's and friends when I was 12 years old, I have volunteered at many animal shelters, rescues, doggy daycare and vet clinics too. I got experience with all sorts of different animals, and temperaments. From a young age, I always wanted to help animals, spec

ifically but not limited to, dogs. I did complete a course at Georgian College where I then received my Veterinary Technician certificate. While completing school, I was also working at a boarding kennel where I learned about a new kind of way to train dogs. I liked what I saw and started educating myself. I started watching videos, reading books, following trainers on social media, I attended a dog training seminar as well and with all of this new knowledge, I needed to find some dogs to try my new techniques on ;)

I was working with a few local dog rescues who allowed me to use my new training techniques with the foster dogs I had. After my 6th or 7th foster dog, I decided I was ready to start training owned dogs too! I started with a few friends dogs while still continuing with the foster dogs as well and I started getting the same results! And that's how I started training all of my amazing clients dogs! :)

OAKLEY is back for structured daycare on this warm Wednesday morning 🥰🥰

We love when Oakley comes to stay! He's already completed a board and train program with and that keeps maintaining his training a breeze while he's here!

He already knows how to crate quietly with my dogs, he chills on place, starting to understand dog socialization cues and he's so easy to walk👏❤️

This fun boy loves to play, his confidence grows everytime I see him and I love having him here🥰❤️🐶🐶

This post is a bit late, but better late than never!!

TANNER the 1.5 year old, 140lb Great Dane went home from his 3 week board and train program a totally new dog!!

This big boy came here, pulling on leash, pouncing on humans to play, counter surfing and his ears were just for decoration, not listening;)

In just 3 short weeks, Tanner has done a total 180 and now I can walk him with my pinky finger, he comes when he's called, he's not jumping or running around the house anymore and is overall much more enjoyable to have around now because he can mind his manners 👏❤️❤️

I loved every minute of having this giant boy stay here, but he was ready to go back home and continue his training with his family!🥰🥰

HUTCH is an approx. 2 year old Great Dane who is available for adoption!!!

This big boy is an absolute sweetheart and all he wants from you is love.... and maybe some playtime ;) He loves to play with toys and loves a good tug session!

Hutch is such a gentle boy (except for his whip of a tail because it's always wagging!) and he will just stand by your side all day, gladly accepting pets and ear rubs, but he also won't complain if he gets to nap on his bed all day either ❤️

Hutch is great in his crate! He sleeps in there all night, can be left alone for up to 6 hours when you're not home!

Hutch is a very friendly boy with all people and dogs he has met! He even knows most of his obedience commands and his leash walking skills are getting better daily!!🥰👏👏

Overall, Hutch is a very happy, easy going boy that you will be beyond lucky to take home!!

DAISY the 10 month old Goldendoodle has already been here and left after staying with us for her 2 week board and train program!🥰❤️

Daisy came here with an already solid foundation and understanding of all her obedience commands.
She came here to solidify all of these commands with distractions, introduce her to the e collar, teach her place work, recall and confidence building!

During her short time here, Daisy learned to trust her handler, they will always advocate for her space and focus on them, she learned the place command so she can be out with her family, but not tripping over her and she's learning how to build more confidence in herself 🥰👏👏

I'll miss this cutie, but she's ready to go home and continue her training back with her family ❤️

BONKERS is a 4 year old Husky/Corgi mix
(ADORABLE, I know) and he's here for a 4 week board and train program!

Bonkers has had a bit of a rough start to life to say the least, this poor dude is already on his third home in his short life which has understanably caused a lot of anxiety
Luckily he's found his forever family and they've reached out for training help so he can be a more relaxed boy and learn that he doesn't have to stress about everything 🥰

During his time here, Bonkers will be learning his basic obedience commands, off leash recall, proper manners on the walks so he doesn't have to get carried past distractions in an "air time out" 🤣
And he will be perfecting the "out" command as well. This boy guards food/toys which isn't okay and he also likes to eat dead, frozen rats, which is not only disgusting but also very dangerous not knowing if it's diseased or even injested poison!

Bonkers and I have a LOT of work to do, but I'm already starting to see some interest in working with me, he's understanding leash pressure and he's learning how to relax when I've asked him to stay in one spot!

I know Bonkers is going to continue to thrive and keep an eye out on our stories too for daily updates on his progress 🥰🐶🐶

TANNER the 1 and a half year old, 140lb Great Dane is here for 3 weeks of training and I'm loving every minute of it😍❤️

Tanner is here for some major manners!
He will be solidifying his basic obedience commands, working on a loose leash while walking, off leash recall and my personal favourite, no more jumping up on people 🤣

This big boy thinks he's 10 lbs, he runs around the house with no recall, so it's always a game of chase, he pushes into you and knocks you over when you're trying to tie up shoes🤣, he pulls on leash because he knows he can use that weight to his advantage and he does think it's fun to swipe whatever is on the counter;)

Tanner is already 1 week through his training and he's already responding to his name, recalling in the backyard to me, not jumping and we have a loose leash on the walks 👏🥰

We still have a lot of work to do, but he is making his family proud, he's working hard and having a blast doing it!

ROCCO is back for boarding for a few days!🥰🥰

This cutie completed a board and train program with us a little over a year ago and we're always happy to welcome back a graduate while family goes away❤️🐶🐶
They fit in so well into our structured environment and these dogs becime family, we miss them when they're gone!

Rocco's family has been doing a great job at keeping up with his training, and during his stay here we sharpening up all of his skills to make sure he doesn't go back home and try to get away with anything;)

We've been keeping a secret!!🙊🙊

BANDIT has joined our pack.... forever!🥰😍❤️🐶🐶

We absolutely fell in love with this adorable, sweet boy as soon as he came into our care as a foster dog through and we immediately knew that he had found his forever family🥰❤️
He literally stole our heart and wears it on his back (he has a heart shape red tuff of fur on his back in the shape of a heart🥺❤️)

Bandit is an approximately 1.5 year old mini Australian Shepherd...mix? (We will be doing a DNA test!)
He's a very sweet, gentle, quiet boy. He's so friendly with people, dogs and when he plays, he never fails to put a smile on your face with his silly moves🤣❤️

He fits in so well and he's already so happy and comfortable here, I think he knows he's home too😍❤️

Better late than never! 🙈

OLIVER & FINLEY have been home for just over 1 week now and they are thriving!🥰👏👏🐶🐶

Their family said the difference in the household and their overall manners are night & day, and on the walks too! Oliver & Finley are so much better behaved on walks so they can become enjoyable again for everybody!

The house is no longer chaotic with 2 little dogs running around barking, out of control and not listening to anything! They're now fully crate trained, obedience and leash trained too, so now they're easy to control, they can go slow and nobody needs to raise voices!

I am so happy to be getting such great updates from these two and I'm so excited to get more! Stay tuned on the rest of their journey and we'll be seeing them again soon for some refresher sessions down the road!

GIGGLES is available for adoption through !!!

This sweet, approx 1.5 year old female lab mix is looking for a family to call her own❤️

Giggles is an extremely affectionate and sweet girl who just wants to love, cuddle and please her humans.
She can be timid at first and definitely a nervous girl, but with a confident handler helping guide her through her fears, she will thrive!🥰

Giggles has already come so far after being her just over a week! Her leash skills are a work in progress, but night and day difference than when she got here and is continuing to improve! She's willing to learn and will work for treats or some loving!🥰
She is very dog friendly so she will be happy in a home with dogs, but it's not a necessity as she will gladly take all your affection for herself! Her dog socialization skills have come so far in just 1 week and she's learning to pick up on socal cues from other dogs and not be overwhelming when they're not interested in play which is a very important skill to have!
An added bonus? She's fully house and crate trained too!

Overall Giggles will need some confidence building with her handler, but she loves to work, play, learn and cuddle of course so this girl will do great with a structured home!❤️🐶🐶

Oliver and Finlee being such good boys on their field trip, they even made a friend who did some training with them!😝 (They're wondering why he gets a comfy bed🤣)

In all seriousness, this store was also full of living dogs, and these boys did great!🥰👏👏
They've almost completed their board and train programs and are ready to go back home, we're just solidifying all the training they've done in the last 4 weeks👏🐶🐶❤️

MILO has been back for a few weeks of boarding while his family is on vacation and it's like he never left🥰😍

I love how confident this guy has gotten since his training, he fits right back into the pack without issue and just look at his SMILE!😍🥰

Our Story

I am a Veterinary Technician with a passion for animals. I have been pet sitting for about 11 years. I have been training dogs on my own now for 2 years after shadowing, working with and learning from a very talented balanced dog trainer who helped give me the extra skills and knowledge I needed to work with dogs on my own. I also went to a Jeff Gellmen 2 day training seminar to further my skills and knowledge I have also previously worked at several different Veterinary Clinics, 2 boarding kennels, in which I was Assistant Manager at both & I have worked at doggy daycare’s watching up to 40 dogs at a time in the same open area. I have volunteered at 3 different SPCA branches and I have been fostering dogs for local rescues for 5 years. We are an in-home dog training, boarding and doggy daycare facility. We offer a calm, quiet, structured environment. We do crate the dogs while we are not home, or if we are working with a training dog. This also helps our boarding and daycare dogs keep a calm state of mind and it keeps them and our home safe. We allow controlled interaction between all the dogs, teach proper manners and social skills too! We have a selection of dogs beds, couches, crates and blankets for the dogs to choose from while they have supervised free roam in the house. We also offer dog walking, visits to clients homes, baths, nail trims and training sessions too!
