Paige's Pet Services I am a Veterinary Technician and dog trainer with a passion for animals! I offer in home board and t I have been working with dogs my whole life.

I am a Dog Trainer and Veterinary Technician offering in home board and trains, structured boarding and more! I started pet sitting for neighbour's and friends when I was 12 years old, I have volunteered at many animal shelters, rescues, doggy daycare and vet clinics too. I got experience with all sorts of different animals, and temperaments. From a young age, I always wanted to help animals, spec

ifically but not limited to, dogs. I did complete a course at Georgian College where I then received my Veterinary Technician certificate. While completing school, I was also working at a boarding kennel where I learned about a new kind of way to train dogs. I liked what I saw and started educating myself. I started watching videos, reading books, following trainers on social media, I attended a dog training seminar as well and with all of this new knowledge, I needed to find some dogs to try my new techniques on ;)

I was working with a few local dog rescues who allowed me to use my new training techniques with the foster dogs I had. After my 6th or 7th foster dog, I decided I was ready to start training owned dogs too! I started with a few friends dogs while still continuing with the foster dogs as well and I started getting the same results! And that's how I started training all of my amazing clients dogs! :)

Better late than never! 🙈

OLIVER & FINLEY have been home for just over 1 week now and they are thriving!🥰👏👏🐶🐶

Their family said the difference in the household and their overall manners are night & day, and on the walks too! Oliver & Finley are so much better behaved on walks so they can become enjoyable again for everybody!

The house is no longer chaotic with 2 little dogs running around barking, out of control and not listening to anything! They're now fully crate trained, obedience and leash trained too, so now they're easy to control, they can go slow and nobody needs to raise voices!

I am so happy to be getting such great updates from these two and I'm so excited to get more! Stay tuned on the rest of their journey and we'll be seeing them again soon for some refresher sessions down the road!

GIGGLES is available for adoption through !!!

This sweet, approx 1.5 year old female lab mix is looking for a family to call her own❤️

Giggles is an extremely affectionate and sweet girl who just wants to love, cuddle and please her humans.
She can be timid at first and definitely a nervous girl, but with a confident handler helping guide her through her fears, she will thrive!🥰

Giggles has already come so far after being her just over a week! Her leash skills are a work in progress, but night and day difference than when she got here and is continuing to improve! She's willing to learn and will work for treats or some loving!🥰
She is very dog friendly so she will be happy in a home with dogs, but it's not a necessity as she will gladly take all your affection for herself! Her dog socialization skills have come so far in just 1 week and she's learning to pick up on socal cues from other dogs and not be overwhelming when they're not interested in play which is a very important skill to have!
An added bonus? She's fully house and crate trained too!

Overall Giggles will need some confidence building with her handler, but she loves to work, play, learn and cuddle of course so this girl will do great with a structured home!❤️🐶🐶

Oliver and Finlee being such good boys on their field trip, they even made a friend who did some training with them!😝 (They're wondering why he gets a comfy bed🤣)

In all seriousness, this store was also full of living dogs, and these boys did great!🥰👏👏
They've almost completed their board and train programs and are ready to go back home, we're just solidifying all the training they've done in the last 4 weeks👏🐶🐶❤️

MILO has been back for a few weeks of boarding while his family is on vacation and it's like he never left🥰😍

I love how confident this guy has gotten since his training, he fits right back into the pack without issue and just look at his SMILE!😍🥰

LUNA went home on the weekend from her 2 week PUPPY board and train program and her family was so happy to have her back, and with a new set of skills!🥰🥰

Luna learned her basic obedience commands, leash walking, dog socialization manners and overall we built a solid foundation for her family to build off of and continue her training🐶🐶

I'm so excited for more updates from her family and hope to see her back soon for e collar training!🥰👏👏

OLIVER & FINLEE are ONE week through their 4 week board and train programs!🥰

These brothers are here for basic obedience, leash skills, overall house manners and a few individual behaviours we need to address too.

OLIVER is a nervous 2 year old yorkie/toy Poodle mix that will be building up his confidence with new people/objects and dogs. He's already come so far and learning that his handler will always advocate for his space, allowing him to come out of his shell faster when there's no pressure!

FINLEE is a 3 year old Maltese/toy Poodle mix that will be working on solidifying all of his basic commands, and teaching him the art of doing nothing! Finlee likes to be on the move so staying still is tough for him! He will be learning to let the world go by around him without needing to be involved in every little thing!

I've already seen lots of progress in both boys after just 1 week and I'm so excited to see what else we will accomplish over the remaining 3 weeks we have together!

LUNA the almost 4 month old White Shepherd puppy is here for her 2 week puppy board and train program 🥰😍

This smart cookie is learning fast! We've been focusing on her recall since she will be outside a lot back at home, she's learning to walk nicely on leash with her handler instead of pulling them along behind her!
She's also working on her basic obedience skills and building a solid foundation for her family to build on when she goes back home!

They'll be keeping up with her training and new routine and we'll be seeing her back again in a few months for e collar training to progress even more!

Remember, puppies are just babies and they need to learn the basics first before expecting too much from them and getting into the "grown up stuff"
They still need to mature mentally too, so don't rush them! They'll get there🥰

I'm so excited to keep working with Luna over the next week and a half and continue to learn❤️🐶🐶

CASH is back for his annual week of boarding with us while his family gets away to a sunny beach!

Cash is such a blast to have here! He completed a 4 week board and train program with me almost few years ago, his family keeps up with the training and brings him back for regular structured boarding so he fits right in!🥰

He had so much fun on his snowy hike today with Fang and his recall is still solid which we love!!

R.I.P to the poor tree Cash got today, we usually try to stick to the dead ones!

The trees got him back;)

ROCKY the 4.5 month old Cane Corso puppy is here for his 2 week puppy board and train program!🥰🐶

His family has taken advantage of this training opportunity right before the holidays so that they don't have extra stress from a hyper puppy with no listening skills!

During his 2 weeks with me, Rocky will be working on his basic obedience skills, leash manners and getting his puppy nipping and jumping corrected so he doesn't jump on his young human siblings!

Rocky is going to be a very big boy, so starting his training early is a fantastic idea and a great way for his family to have success!🥰👏👏

I'm excited to continue working with Rocky and seeing what we can accomplish over the next 2 weeks🥰

Our Story

I am a Veterinary Technician with a passion for animals. I have been pet sitting for about 11 years. I have been training dogs on my own now for 2 years after shadowing, working with and learning from a very talented balanced dog trainer who helped give me the extra skills and knowledge I needed to work with dogs on my own. I also went to a Jeff Gellmen 2 day training seminar to further my skills and knowledge I have also previously worked at several different Veterinary Clinics, 2 boarding kennels, in which I was Assistant Manager at both & I have worked at doggy daycare’s watching up to 40 dogs at a time in the same open area. I have volunteered at 3 different SPCA branches and I have been fostering dogs for local rescues for 5 years. We are an in-home dog training, boarding and doggy daycare facility. We offer a calm, quiet, structured environment. We do crate the dogs while we are not home, or if we are working with a training dog. This also helps our boarding and daycare dogs keep a calm state of mind and it keeps them and our home safe. We allow controlled interaction between all the dogs, teach proper manners and social skills too! We have a selection of dogs beds, couches, crates and blankets for the dogs to choose from while they have supervised free roam in the house. We also offer dog walking, visits to clients homes, baths, nail trims and training sessions too!
