Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Please remember to keep your pets safe while enjoying the warm weather.
Never leave your pet in the car when it is warm outside, even with the windows down. This can be very dangerous. If you are going out- plan ahead! Leave your dog at home or make sure they can accompany wherever you are going. Packing water and travel bowl is always a good idea!
Visit the link below for more information on why dogs should never be left alone in the car.

Tick alert! Flea and tick season is here, and we are starting to see ticks on pets again. If you are concerned about ticks and your pets, please contact us to learn more about tick prevention. Ticks can be hard to find, especially on pets with long or dark fur. The tick in this picture was removed from a young kitten.

If you find a tick on your pet, here is what you can do:

1) Remove the tick. For tips on removing ticks, visit the link below.
2) Download the eTick app for free and submit a picture to have the tick identified. You can find this app on the link below by clicking “Found a tick?”
3) Call us! Even if your pet is on tick prevention, letting your vet know that you have found a tick on your pet is important so it can add to their medical record.

Check out Pets and Ticks for more information!
