Wishing all my friends a happy, healthy holiday season and sending out a special thank you to my wonderful, thoughtful and generous clients who spoiled me with their kindness this Christmas season, I appreciate each and every one of you!
Here’s a little snapshot of my busy December…I tried so hard to get pics of all my pups but I am a much better groomer than I am pet photographer…I hope!🤪 If you don’t see your pup, trust me I tried, some were a lil camera shy!

Hi friends, just a heads up that I will be away on vacation returning November 25th.

The Christmas season is also coming up fast. I do still have some time available in December, if you need to make an appointment before the holidays please look at your schedules and send me a TEXT to make an appointment BEFORE Dec 1st to avoid disappointment. This is the time of year when new clients come out of the woodwork wanting to get their dogs cleaned up before Christmas however, I want to be sure I have all my regular clients accommodated first!
I will hold off on booking any new clients until Dec 1 at which point I will open the books in an effort to ensure my schedule is full.

Sigh….its only Tuesday morning and I have had now 3 late cancellations/no shows already this week. This hurts. I understand that things happen out of our control and never in my 4 years in business have I actually enforced my late cancellation/no show policy, usually doing so just results in a lost customer anyway but please recognize how this hurts a small business who straight up loses that chunk of weekly income with no chance to recover….😞

So very happy to have the bridge open to make access easier for my clients coming in from Port and Wainfleet but recently a new curveball was thrown by the city of Welland…They have eliminated all of our street parking on Forks Rd. in favor of bike lanes on both sides of the street. I’m not a happy camper to say the least, both sides is SO unnecessary at this very quiet end of Forks Rd. Our driveways barely fit two cars, I had been leaving my car on the street so my customers had wide open access to my driveway but unfortunately this is no longer possible. Having said that there will always be 1 spot open in my driveway for you to pull into, I have a ring camera and can see when someone arrives and I’m always willing to come out and assist! I anticipate this will be more complicated when winter hits and snow builds up, again I can always come out to you to retrieve your dog and bring them inside, you don’t even have to get out of the car! I’m especially concerned for my seniors navigating this tight spot….
I have also created a potty spot with pea gravel along the side of the driveway, it’s appreciated if you could encourage your dog to use that spot before they come in, in an effort to save our grass! As always thank you for your patience and understanding with these never ending growing pains!! 🐶🐾❤️

Good morning and happy Tuesday!😊
In case your ever wondering where the best place to park is I have a birds eve view of the end of my driveway through my ring camera. I usually have the live feed on when I’m expecting someone so if you pull parallel across the end of the driveway I will see when you arrive. The driveway is quite narrow to navigate when two cars are parked in it and we are still waiting on the builder to grade and sod our front lawn. There is a makeshift potty patch your pup is more than welcome to use before they come in. My apologies for the awkward chaos, we hope it will be a more welcoming front yard soon!

To my friends looking for the best route to Dain City from Port Colborne amidst all this construction….
I highly suggest taking Elm Street all the way to the end at Forks Rd. Normally you should be able to turn right, cross the bridge and I am towards the end BUT the bridge is closed, construction has made a mess of hwy 58 coming out of Port and the 140 has construction closures as well….
At the end of Elm turn left on Forks and then left again following signs to go out onto hwy 58 North, it is clear of construction at this point. Turn right at Townline Tunnel and right again at Canal Bank street. Follow Canal Bank street back down to Forks Rd and then go left on Forks, I am towards the end past the stop sign. The nearest intersection is Tumblewood Place.
Hopefully this helps as people are being directed to the closed bridge by their GPS and maps….
