HYDAC Corporation, Welland hosted a fundraiser called "Dogs for Dogs", a hot dog eating contest. They donated toys, clothes and leashes along with laundry soap and food. They raised $507.11!

"Charity" is an 11 month old female shepherd at our Port Colborne shelter! She is VERY shy (not aggressive) around new people so her new pawrents need to be patient to build the bond and gain her trust. The effort will be worth it though; once she knows you she is super friendly, loves attention, and is a great walker!

UPDATE:
Just an update on Lyric whom we adopted on August 17/24. We renamed her Lily and she has become the perfect addition to the household. She is loving farm life, going for walks down to the beach, and playing with her many friends everyday. She shows us everyday just how happy she is with her zoomie laps around the house or yard. We are blessed with her love and couldn't be happier.

He has been doing so well with training and has done exceptionally well with our feline companions!
UPDATE on Cerebellar Hypoplasia kittens!
We just wanted to send in an update on “Andy” - now Mr. Moo or Moo & “Amelia” - now Roo, the kittens with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. They have settled in quickly and are adjusting great to their new routine, we love them both so much and are so lucky to have them in our family!
Moo loves to be picked up and snuggled, he enjoys sleeping in his tunnel or on a cozy blanket on our laps. He loves to chase his sister and does a great job getting around on the carpet in our home! He is the first to tell us it’s their wet food time and loves his treats!
Roo enjoys looking out the window and finding the highest place in the house to keep watch on everyone. She’s such a sweet, loving girl and just wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing! She loves to curl up on our laps and is so caring for her brother Moo!
We’d like to thank the shelter and their foster family for everything! We’re so thankful to have Moo + Roo❤️

UPDATE:
On Feb 6th 2024 you rescued Damien. We met him at PetValu and brought him home on March 26. He has been such a blessing to us and the absolute center of my son's life. We are so grateful to you for helping him get to us. We love him so much. His name is Storm now and he is so happy.

UPDATE
It’s been 3 weeks since we welcomed home our boy “Ernie”, who is now named Gordie. Since that time he continues to thrive and live his best life. Gordie is now confident on his walks and has started going up and down stairs. Gordie went on his first camping trip and loved it, especially his daily walk to the beach where he stuck his nose in the sand. Gordie has a sweet and gentle temperament and loves to cuddle up close to us when he sleeps. It truly feels like we’ve had Gordie forever and we absolutely adore him.
Kitana (with the cone) went home today. Juno, who's been with us for a whole year ALSO went home!
UPDATE:
We apologize for the delay, but here is our little monster. He's been such a great pup as we absolutely love him to death.
We took him on our northern getaway which was a long haul and was unbelievably fantastic.
Once settled at the cottage, he never wanted in the cottage and was always chasing the chipmunks.
We thank you for this for the opportunity to adopt the newly named "Dallas" to our family.😁😁

UPDATE: We just wanted to let yous all know that we have made it home safe and sound. They seem to be loving the yard and have been in and around the house. They have been such good boys so far.
