It was a great day to repurpose some wood!

You may wonder, why bother cutting down trees.

It's part of good forest management.

Right now, we are trying to clear out all the standing dead timber. It keeps the forest alot safer and gives space for all the new seedlings starting to grow.

After we cut it down and drag it out, it is cut in 3 ft lengths, split, then stacked, and let out to season for a year (adds more flavour) kidding. To season firewood is for it to dry down.

Dry firewood is what we use for a heat source for making our maple syrup. So it's a win win......we keep our forest clean and then use it to make syrup.

We had a dream years ago to be able to serve pancakes at the sugar shack. This year, we made it happen. Thanks to everyone for coming out and making it a success! We look forward to welcoming you back this coming spring again.

Come out to Main Street in Milverton tomorrow night to kick off the Christmas season. There will be lots of local goodies from lots of local businesses.

We will be handing out samples and will have our products available to purchase and will also be serving maple taffy.

Just couldn't drive by without stopping and snapping some pictures. What a gorgeous time of the year.

We are busy expanding our parking while it is nice and dry. We are hoping to keep your boots and vehicles a little less muddy in the spring with some fresh gravel.

One day event only!! Next Saturday, Sept 28, from 10am-5pm!

We are opening our sugar bush for you to come and take a walk in nature.

Start your day enjoying the Wellesley Apple Butter and Cheese Festival, and then unwind with a quiet walk in nature. We will also be trying out a new fall menu at this one day event for future events.

We will be serving pancakes with maplized apples topped with vanilla ice cream and then smothered in syrup. Swipe for picture!

We love being a part of our small town, Wellesley. It was a great evening being part of the parade at The Wellesley Fall Fair.

For the first time ever, we are a vendor at The Apple Butter and Cheese Festival on Sept. 28. We look forward to seeing you there.
