Sand Hills Maple Products Sandhills Maple Products, operated by John Wagler and family since 2003, producers of quality syrup Over the years, we slowly grew to 900 taps on pails.

In 2003, we as a family, started producing syrup with about 200 taps on pails. In 2013, we installed pipeline, and now we are around 1500 taps. In 2018, we decided to operate as more of a small business under the name Sandhills Maple Products. We will strive to produce high quality, sweet Ontario, maple syrup.

Planning March break activities?

Bring the kiddos back for some fresh air, good food, lots of outdoor space, and some activities.

We will be serving pancakes on Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15, both days from 8am-1pm.

If those dates don't work, we are open every Saturday until Apr 5th from 8am-1pm.

Apr 5th is maple weekend, so that day only we are also making maple taffy, and we will be open from 8am-4pm that day only.

Pets on a leash are also welcome

We can't wait to see you tomorrow.

Please dress warm. We will have a few warm spots back there, but overall, it will be a fresh morning.

The pancakes and coffee and lots of other goodies will be ready for 8 am - 1 pm.

We are introducing Greek yogurt parfaits to our menu this year. One goal with our food trailer is to show you that maple syrup is literally good on everything, not just pancakes. Greek yogurt has a bit of a tang to it, but when paired with maple granola and then topped with maple syrup......well, come back, and you be the judge.

We were tapping, and the sap was flowing!

This year, not so much. We are busy fixing lines and looking forward to another 10-20 cm of snow to come overnight. There's no point in just sinking to the knees in snow while tapping.😀
