Hello from the Farm!
We need some volunteer help this week!
The long, snowy winter and cold wet spring have pushed us to now in getting our raspberry patch weeded.

It must be done PRONTO so we can reach the soaker hoses and get some water to the thirsty plants ASAP!!

I invite you to come to the Farm any morning this week - and spend a few hours weeding with us.( 8am-noon is coolest) We offer a refreshing swim and mudslide in the St. Croix River!! And some pizza and salad as your reward!

WANTED IMMEDIATELY: RASPBERRY PICKERS

This last rain brought them on....
I pay $1.20 per box; a good picker can pick 8 boxes in an hour.
Limited you pick available at $3.00 per pint.
Good picking today, Wednesday; closed due to rain/wet tomorrow; looking for pickers for Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

There are still more berries to come.....probably open again Monday of the long weekend. So far we've picked 1080 pints!! I predicted 1200 early on -- let's see if we make it!

There are so-o-o many berries on the canes. I just picked 10 pints in an hour.

Weibke leaves us today after 5 weeks of hard work and big smiles. Going on to a goat farm to learn about milking and carry for goats. Best of luck Weibke! We'll miss you!

With the help of friends, we picked more than 100 lb. of fiddleheads! They'll go out in our CSA and --we've been eating them every second day for weeks.
