Evangeline Trail Rides

Evangeline Trail Rides Horse trail rides for ages 9+, located within the scenic town of Stanley, East Hants, Nova Scotia. Please call ahead to book your trail ride, 1-902-632-2637

Trail Ride Information:

~We operate year round.
~Trail rides are $60+hst each, per person. (cash only)
~Summer lesson series. 1 hour. Every Tuesday & Thursday evening. (June-August 2022) $50.00+hst (cash only)
~Private trail ride, 1 hour + meet the horses & cattle. Every Monday & Tuesday morning (June-August 2022) $100.00+hst (cash only)
~Advance booking is required for all rides via telephone 90

~Cancellations are accepted up to four hours prior to your scheduled ride time.
~Riders must be aged 9 or older.
~All riders aged 19 and younger are required to wear a helmet, however we highly recommend that all riders wear a helmet.
~Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to scheduled time for registration.
~All riders are required to sign a waiver prior to the trail ride.
~Non medical masks aren't required at this time, however they are always welcomed.
~Vaccination passports are not required.
~If you have ridden with us before and have a preferred horse, please let us know when booking and we will try our best to reserve this horse for your ride.

Covid 19 Regulations:

For your health, safety and enjoyment, EvangelineTrail Rides follows all Nova Scotia government covid-19 protocols.

~Please do not attend the trail ride if you are feeling unwell or have cold or flu-like symptoms. We will happily reschedule your ride for another time.
~Please maintain social distancing while at our facilities.
~All helmets are sanitized after each use.
~All rides are by appointment only.

During inclement weather or conditions:

From time to time weather and conditions may deem that is unsafe for either our riders or horses. In these instances, you will receive a telephone call to your contact number with rebooking information.

What to wear for your trail ride:

For your health, safety and comfort, please review and follow our recommended attire when coming to ride.
~Long pants are required for all trail rides (even during summer months)
~Footwear with a small heel is recommended. No open toed footwear, sandals or crocs.
~Bug spray and sunscreen is recommended during warmer days.
~In colder weather, flexible layers work best. Mittens are warmer than gloves.
~During wet weather, a waterproof rain jacket is suggested. No ponchos please.

1 hour from Halifax, NS.
25 mins from Windsor, NS.

Frequent Rider Program:

~If you wish to participate in the frequent rider program, please ask for a frequent rider card.
~Ride five times with Evangeline Trail Rides and receive your 6th ride free.
~Your frequent rider card must be presented during registration for each ride to be stamped and validated.
~Booking your free ride is required by telephone.

Private Bookings:

~Available during summer 2022. Every Monday & Tuesday morning. $100 +hst per person. 1 hour in duration, plus a meet & greet with the horses & cattle. Pre-booking is required.

Group Bookings:

~Group bookings are available for groups up to 15 people.
~Group rides require booking 14 days prior to the ride date.
~Minimum 10 riders are required to book a group ride.
~$50 + hst per person.
~Should the need to cancel arise, cancellation is required 2 days prior to the scheduled ride.

~To use a gift certificate, rides must be booked in advance & the gift certificate must be presented during registration.
