One day, Kevin’s cat, Scooter, returned home with a broken leg. With limited resources, Kevin reached out to his family, who helped cover the cost of an initial veterinary visit.

As we work with social services and veterinary clinics within the community, Kevin was connected with us through the amazing Turning Points Collaborative Society. Thanks to our incredible community partner, Westbank Animal Care Hospital, Shooter underwent a successful amputation and is now recovering well!!!

Scooter and Kevin's story remind us of the impact of our initiatives— keeping pets like Scooter with his family, Kevin.

To our brilliant, caring, endlessly patient heroes who handle wagging tails, zoomies, sassy paws, and drama queens in fur coats - we see you, we thank you, and we adore you.

Whether you're wrestling a 90-lb Labrador who thinks he’s a lapdog, or gently convincing a cat that the thermometer isn’t a personal attack - you're absolute legends.

You’re kind, smart as heck, a little sassy (you need to be), and 100% dedicated to making sure our pets live their best lives - even if they *definitely* don’t appreciate that nail trim.

Thanks for loving our pets like we do - and for surviving the daily chaos with a smile (and probably a lint roller).
