Meet your groomer. I have been in the pet industry for 27 years. I grew up on a farm in Central Saanich on Vancouver Island . My first dog was a chow chow. Yes a chow chow. I then went on to have other dogs that have left an imprint on my heart. I was also in 4-H, pony club and an avid three day event rider. I cared for chickens, sheep, horses, and dogs in kennels. I did agility with my dog Blazer. I went to grooming school in Vancouver and Nanaimo and worked under Master groomers. I also worked in vet offices as a VA and did some Tech stuff too. I’ve worked as a groomer at Vet clinics as well. I’m always growing. I feel like every moment with a pet they teach me. I listen to them and their needs. I hope to be a part of your dogs grooming needs in the future . I look forward to meeting you and you pet.

Doodies Pet Grooming is on reduced hours for the week of August 8th-13th. If you have a scheduled appointment this will not affect service. Walk in nail trims are only available in the mornings. There will be no drop in daycare for this week. Your patience is appreciated while Doodies pet grooming prepares to change its business over. New services and better service is coming soon.

Well that’s a wrap for me on my last day with my lovely clients. Thank you so much for being so supportive and welcoming to the community. I will treasure the time spent being your favorite groomer. Lots of love and peace. How fitting my last two dogs are from one of my most supportive clients.

Hello my wonderful clients!! I must announce after 12 years of grooming I’m very sad to say my career must end. I have too many injuries due to the strain of repetitive motion to carry on any further. I’m also awaiting surgery for a hernia. So I have found a lovely groomer to take over and purchase the salon. She starts tomorrow and will be with me for two weeks to introduce her to some of you.
She has a few years of experience and worked at a vet clinic as well.
Any prebooked appointments I’ll be phoning you to confirm your dates. She is fully capable and is looking forward to grooming your dogs. I have notes on all the grooms for her. And of course a million lovely pictures of your dogs for references. All media and contact numbers or emails that can be transferred will be transferred to her over the next few weeks. Doodies will continue to operate.
It’s been a sweet but short time here with many successes and I adore your pooches! This wasn’t taken lightly and I have been trying to tough it out but this last injury is too much. So I’d like to say from the bottom of my heart sincerely, thank you.

A truly sad day for Doodies as we had to say good bye to a beautiful little girl named Tita. She was a toy poodle and was a feisty character!! Loved by her family very much and me and will be missed terribly. 🌈 ❤️🐶

We are situated very close to the water tower and the train station, in the west downtown area. It is a home based business, in my home with bookings by appointment only. I have a separate entrance for you, and a fully professional equipped grooming salon.

I am a certified Master Dog Groomer, I also groom cats. I use natural products Natures Specialty Shampoos and veterinarian products if requested. I do one on one appointments.
