Well they only just arrived and it’s love already! We are smitten with our newest bonded duo, Solo & Padme (Pad-may)!
From a galaxy far, far away, these two came to us looking for a new lease on life! While they may be seniors, they still have light-years to go before they are done giving the best snuggles. These two are affectionate, lovely cats who are happy to meet just about anybody. Even after their long transfer down to us, they greeted us with purrs and rubs right away. Solo is a sweet, hunky boy who will give you the best head-butts of your life! He really enjoys compliments about how cute he is, and is quick to hit you with his “love-me” eyes. Padme may not be on Naboo anymore, but boy is she still a queen! This girl is the social butterfly of the two, and will run up to greet you and say hello. She’s a talkative girl who will tell you all about her plans to lead the empire to peace! We know that these two have met dogs previously, and seem to be okay around cat-friendly canines, but a slow and appropriate introduction would be needed.
Padme and Solo do require dental cleanings (cost covered by the SPCA!) which means lower-mainland adopters are preferred at this time as it will be done by one of our vets.

🌺Introducing Rosemary!🌿
After months of work here at the shelter, Rosemary is finally ready to find her forever home! This girl has had a tough start to life, with almost no human contact up until her arrival into SPCA care. Rosemary arrived to us terrified, desperately needing a bath and medical care. After lots of behaviour modification and TLC, Lavender can't wait to find her forever home. Rosemary NEEDS a home with another dog, this girl LIGHTS UP when she is around other canine's, and so we know this is a must for her. Her forever home should be prepared to put lots of work into building her confidence and getting her comfortable with the regular sights and sounds of the world. She will also need ongoing guidance with house-training, but a yard will definitely help to speed this along.
