Alright here are the stages of Sonny, fluff ball, pre shave for bath, mop and the finished results. I am not 100% happy with his face but he is still learning to have his face held and getting used to the scissors and clippers around his head.

Today was not only XL but XS too as the miss petite Sugarpop came in to get prettied up too. Makeover number 2.

I hope everyone has been enjoying the summer like weather and the storms that have started brewing. I love a good occasional storm haha!

I am posting to give ALL clients notice that my client list to get in for grooms is currently full. I will not be accepting anymore requests at this time as I will be away for most of July and August due to daycare constraints.

If a day opens up that I become available, i will post here.

I also wanted to give notice that as of July 1, 2023, my grooming rates will increase.
Small breeds will increase by $10, medium breeds by $15, and large breeds by $20 a groom.
Bath and Brushes will stay the same. De-shedding added to any breed will be a $15 additional fee on top of a regular groom. I spend a minimum of an extra 30 min to 1 hr on top of the regular groom time on each deshed booking.

🥰 I love paws! I probably spend wayyyyyy too long on my grooms nit picking at their paws. This girl came in to see me at Groomingdale’s Weyburn for a bath and tidy which included a pawdicure 😉.

Was a hairy day yesterday but I have to admit I love all the fluff!

I am still grooming on just a casual basis. Working with available daycare. This means, I cannot guarantee an apt earlier than the Friday of the the week prior. I do have a list going for those wanting apts but cannot guarantee that week. As it stands right now. I have a list of potential bookings going into the first week of April. So I will not be taking anymore clients for this list at this time as its to hard to manage when I have no idea when I can potentially book you in.

I am excited to be back at pet valu on a casual basis. It may be once a week, twice a week or once a month on Monday and Tuesdays only. I am not able to do pre-booking. You are welcome to message on Fridays for the upcoming Monday or Tuesday and I will try to accommodate you based on available daycare.

Sorry for the lack of activity as things have been pretty busy as we are down to our last week preparing for our new addition. I got to have some fun today! Its not often I get to practice my blending and breed cuts. Even though it was a modified pet trim for a farm dog, it was still such a joy to try to do a Westie cut after not having done one for 7 years. Definitely see room for improvement but happy with my groom. She was so much fun 🥰.

Planning my maternity leave and my appointments have filled fast I am so grateful and blessed to have such wonderful, loyal clientele that book months out to ensure a spot for their furbaby. I have only a few openings left at Pet Valu Weyburn the first week in April and then I am booked up right until my maternity leave begins. If you would like a final appointment with me for your furbaby msg me or call myself or pet valu to book one of those few remaining spots.

Good morning! This is a notice to let those of my clients who don't already know that I am pregnant. Now that I am over half way, it is time to start planning for when I will not be able to groom your fur babies anymore.
With working only part time as is, I have noticed my appointments are filling up fast. I am currently booking for mid March and taking appointments up until the end of April. If you are looking to have a final groom booked before spring, please feel free to msg me on here, or call Pet Valu Weyburn to get booked in with me or one of the other groomers.
I understand it comes at bad timing with Fidos Place loosing their groomer recently, a surplus of pooches in need of grooming and very limited groomers in town. So please keep this in mind when calling to book in your pooch.
Try to pre-plan if you think "well Fido is looking a little fluffy, maybe he will need a cut in a couple weeks!" Call and book it now, as wait times become longer closer to spring. We are all booking up and busy at this time.
There is good news though! Pet Valu has a groomer in training right now and hopefully she will be geared up and ready to go before I take my leave 🙂.

Well, I have a secret!
I’m currently working towards a groomers certificate. That being said the part of my schooling that I’m at is the practice part so read carefully. I am looking for 8 people well dogs actually that are of the following breeds( rough collie, golden retriever, husky, Sheltie, Pomeranian, Samoyed, chow, German shepherd, malamute, or anything mixed breed containing the list above) please send me a message with the following info. Your name, dogs name, dogs breed, age of dog, and if the dog has ever been groomed before. The groom would be a bath and brush out, as well as a nail trim or dremmel. Because I am just learning these skills in a professional manner I wouldn’t feel right charging you at the rate the other certified groom charge, so it will all be at a discount price.
