THE DAY WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!
July 4th from 6:00-8:00pm, we invite anyone with pets they want to show off to bring them down for all to see!

All are welcome! Reptiles, Snakes, Dragons, Geckos, frogs, rats, ferrets, spiders, etc, etc.

If you have a pet you’d like to show off, bring them down. This is the time to shine for anything not fluffy with 4 legs!

If you’ve always wanted to see, touch, hold and learn about these pets, please come! You don’t need to bring a pet.

We are selling paper paws for $2 to be donated to the Weyburn Humane Society Inc’s food and supply drive. Please consider donating when you come down for the event.

Dog Wash Fundraiser!
Do you want us to bath and towel dry your dog for you?

Now is your opportunity to get in on this fundraiser for the Weyburn Humane Society Inc!

Friday, June 28th from 1:00-4:00 our staff are available to do this for you!
It’s a $25 donation.

Just call us or send us a message before you come to be sure we’ve got time for your wash.

The wash will be between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on your dog. You can run out to do some errands or stay in and shop around while we do the bathing.

Let’s talk urinary health!!

Urinary health is a major topic when it comes to cats. The urinary system includes the bladder, kidneys, and urethra, all which function together to remove filtered waste, including certain minerals and compounds. The health of this system is critical for overall wellbeing and is heavily influenced by proper hydration, stress, and obesity, among other factors In cats, there are many concerns which can be related to a urinary system issue, which can all be captured under the umbrella term of feline lower urinary tract disorder (FLUTD). One of the most common concerns under this umbrella is the formation of stones and crystals, also known as urolithiasis. There are multiple types of urinary stones, however the most commonly diagnosed are ‘struvite’
Struvite crystals can be a normal component of healthy cat urine, however when they aggregate into stones, they can become a painful and serious concern which warrant veterinary attention.

Every Sunday from 1:00-3:00 we host the animals from the Weyburn Humane Society Inc. they come for a visit to see if they can find their furrever homes.

Charity didn’t find her furrever home this weekend at our adoption event. She’s still here!!
We always have a kitty from the Weyburn Humane Society Inc on site at our store. Charity is available to be viewed anytime our store is open.
She’s about 10 months old. She’s spayed and up to date on all her vaccines.
She’s also beautiful and really taking a liking to the staff here at Pet Valu.
