Dear BNB Family,
Yes! It’s true! 😮We’re expecting our first human child and our esteemed OB has already confirmed that he’s got the makings to become a worthy groomer as suggested by his restless hand movements 👊😂👋
🐣Baby is doing well, 🤰Tiff’s doing well, 👍 all is well !
~~~What this means for our business~~~
~Business as usual; looking ahead, we’ll be operating off of a reduced schedule as we enter March 2025.
~Since the beginning, we’ve trained our staff to be involved throughout the grooming process with every dog(as opposed to one person doing it all) to ensure every appointment follows our strict grooming process as originally designed by Tiff & Mike!
~We’re confident that our well-trained team will be able to deliver the same great grooming experience for your pups for any of the days that Mike (or Tiff) aren’t present at the salon !
~Please do not hesitate to call, message, or email us for any questions during this time.

As we operate off of an appointment-only basis, the foundation of our small family-owned business is based off of a mutual understanding towards the commitment of our scheduled appointments between our clients and staff. 
🗓️ We’ve long operated without charging fees for cancellations and reschedulings however oftentimes, these appointments may be pre-booked and reserved for days, weeks, months, and in many instances a year in advance where our clients of varying scheduling restrictions enjoy the benefits of our committed schedule.
➡️ Effective Dec 2024, we’ve updated our Cancellation & Rescheduling policy in an effort to maximize our availability and efficiency:
📖 Any appointment cancelled and/or rescheduled without written notification (Text message/email only, no phone calls or voicemails) within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment, will be subject to a cancellation/rescheduling fee of $25 tax-in per dog (per appointment) or $50 tax-in for two or more dogs scheduled within the same appointment time.
📖 When applicable, this fee shall be paid in full prior to rescheduling a subsequent appointment via debit, credit (subject to 2% surcharge), cash, or e-transfer.
📖 A repeated pattern of cancellations and/or reschedulings including appointments being cancelled without notice, otherwise known as a “no-show”, may result in the requirement for prepaid grooming appointments and/or the indefinite refusal of future service.
📖 To respect the time that our clients have reserved out of their day for their dogs’ appointment, all appointments arriving ten(10) minutes late after their scheduled time may possibly be subject to be cancelled and rescheduled in which the previously mentioned terms will be applicable.

🐾 🎁 🎄BnB x HSDR 🎄 🎁 🐾
We’re excited to announce that we’ve partnered up with the Humane Society of Durham Region(HSDR) for this upcoming Holiday Season!!!
Like many of our fellow pet professionals, we’ve had a first hand account of the exponential growth and interest towards pet ownership over the last few years after COVID. 🦮
For one reason or another, the unfortunate reality is that too many of these pets end of being re-homed multiple times before they end up at the shelter waiting for what they’re hoping to be, their furever home. 🏠

We’re honoured to partner up with HSDR in hosting a Holiday Donation Drive from Nov 12th-Dec 21 where we will be accepting much needed items for care and well being of these pets at the shelter. 🐶
We’ve asked HSDR to provide us with a list of their most needed items and many of these range from food/bedding all the way to essential cleaning products for the staff to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for these pets while waiting to be rehomed this Holiday Season. 🎅

Before we close up shop for the Holidays on Dec 21st, we will make our way down over to Wentworth Street in Whitby to drop off all of these collected goodies 🤝
