This week, we’re thrilled to have two very handsome boys staying with us! Cooper is here for a week-long stay to keep up with his training while his mom enjoys a well-deserved vacation. Archie has joined us for our Board & Train program, where he’s focusing on improving his obedience and manners.
Santa Paws will definitely be visiting the homes of these good boys this year! 🎅🐾

⭐️ NOW OFFERING WALK & TRAIN -
An all-encompassing service that is tailored to meet all of the essential components of dog ownership, including socialization and comprehensive training. Think Outside The Bark's mission is to help enrich your dog's life through tailored training, engaging activities, and unparalleled companionship.

$50 - 45 minute session (minimum 1 session/week). These lessons take place with just your trainer and your dog. You will receive a short video clip and/or a few photos of each session. Weekly reports of how your dog is doing will be provided.

You do not have to be home for pickup/dropoff.

OPTIONAL: $100 - 60 minute private lessons are available to enrolled owners who would like to learn how to continue training at home.

🐾 Nutritious Rewards: Your trainer will train your dog 1 on 1 using treats that suit their age and unique health needs.

🐾 Adventure: A well-rounded dog is a happy one. Your dog will get to experience local adventures to different neighbourhood parks and/or pet-friendly businesses.

🐾 Training: Effective training is the key to a well-behaved and happy dog. Your trainer will work with your dog to address minor behavioural issues, teach essential commands, and enhance communication between you and your friend. Whether you have a new puppy or an older dog, all training is tailored to your dog's specific needs.

🐾 Enrichment: A bored pup can quickly become a mischievous one. Your dog will be introduced to a variety of engaging activities and interactive toys to keep their mind sharp.

🐾 Socialization: It is crucial, at any age, to expose your dog to different people, animals, and environments to reduce anxiety, over-excitement, and encourage good behaviour. However, effective socialization isn't just interacting with other dogs and people; it's teaching your dog to remain calm and attentive to you amidst those distractions, fostering a strong and responsive bond.

NOW OFFERING BOARD & TRAIN! 🐾

During the Board & Train program your dog will stay with our family, in our home. This gives us the ability to teach behaviours relevant to pet owners, in an environment much like their own.

🐶 Your dog will learn basic obedience including sit, down, loose leash walking, recall, threshold work, place, and general household etiquette. We will also address any reactivity or other undesirable behaviours on a case-by-case basis determined through the evaluation process.

🐶 We also work closely with you, the owner, throughout your dog's stay by providing photo & video updates explaining and demonstrating the concepts and methods. This will allow you to keep informed and ask questions as we go, because it's important to not only understand what your dog is doing, but why. You will also receive ongoing support upon your dog's return.
