After today we will be closed until October 17.
My mother Gerry Haldenby passed away just after midnight on Saturday .She had been in hospital for the last 8 days after having a fall. She was 97 in July living on her own in her condo for the last 39 years after my Dad passed. I’m still in shock as I saw her last night got her out of bed sitting in a chair and even FaceTimed my daughter in Edmonton. She seemed like she was getting better. She left on her own terms peacefully in her sleep before having to make the move to a seniors home leaving all her “treasures” behind. She leaves behind 2 daughters, 6 grandkids and 7 great grandkids.
Funeral is tenitive for Friday with visitations also on Thursday night at Pine Hills in Scarborough. Will update when confirmed on Monday .

Looks like we have a house chicken! Headbanger our special needs chick was abandon by her foster mother and getting beat up by the others so Mother Hen brought her in!

Tina the turkey has disappeared not sure if she was taken by a coyote or human. She weighs about 50lbs so something strong😡
Not the same in the yard without her coming to meet me with her pop pop pop & her purry voice
