Looking back on 2024…
It was one of the good ones.
When looking back at the things I’ve accomplished this year, I have realized that my business did not grow as much as I thought or hoped it would… but I, as an an individual, have grown in more ways than I could have imagined.
2024 is year I became a homeowner, and (with the help of some incredible people) successfully executed all of the DIY projects/renovations that I envisioned. My passion for animal nutrition has helped me grow in my career, and this year I became a certified therapeutic nutritionist for companion animals. After a 6 year hiatus, I returned to my hometown dance studio as a teacher. I went on so many adventures - got stranded in the middle of nowhere with no cell service, woke up in a puddle or two after sleeping in a tent, had a traumatic encounter with a tree while floating down a river (I laugh about it now). Through the ups and downs, the memories of 2024 will be cherished forever.
I don’t normally talk about this here, but it is a huge part of my life, and I think it is worth mentioning. I think my most notable accomplishment this year was advocating for my mental health. Acknowledging the signs of burnout and fatigue, then allowing myself to rest, and prioritizing my wellbeing was the best thing I could have done this year. I am so thankful that I’m going into 2025 with a positive and grateful mindset.
Here’s to a fresh start, a new chapter, and countless opportunities. Now that I have more balance in life’s chaos, I aim to focus more on growing AHC and making so many more connections with my supporters 🩵🐾
Happy 2025!
