Unfortunate news, I’ve been down with the sickness and will NOT be attending the Beef Pen Show in Medicine Hat this weekend. I am so disappointed as I had such a great time last year, and I’m so sorry!
If you had planned on attending, I hope you still head out! They have such a great group of vendors lined up and there is sure to be some top notch shopping for you last minuters… or maybe just to treat yourself if you have your holiday shopping already wrapped up!

Punchy Christmas Sweaters are back!!

All but one of these options are my own artwork, which I then turn into graphics, and the production is done in house.

A dozen designs to pick from, choose your shirt colour, size, and design number you would like, I assemble it all and ship it to you!

Unisex Sizes S-3XL, Youth & Toddler sizing also available but colours will be more limited/different. $50 each.

Now, I realize we’re cutting this tight timewise! But I’ll be rushing the shipping (courier, so the CP strike won’t affect this) and so long as everything works like it should, I should pressing these by the end of next week!

It never fails, the first real taste of Winter, and the to do list starts filling up. Given the nature of the season, so does my inbox! Which, I’m really grateful for, but to be sure I haven’t missed a message, I thought I’d do up a house keeping post covering some of the questions I’ve been answering lately.

1) Sorry, we’re not at Agribition! We will be set up at Cowboy Christmas in Melville, SK on the 7th, and at the Beef Pen Show in Medicine Hat, AB on the 20th-22st. If you are unable to make those markets…

2) We’re still shipping! Canada Post may be on strike but the good news is I’ve lined up other couriers to deliver all the cool stuff you guys have been ordering. It does require a physical address so if you have an order pending please reach out so I can update that. I realize that for a lot of us, that’s kinda inconvenient but I hope I can balance that out by…

3) Lower Shipping Costs! So far every quote I’ve done has been MUCH less costly than Canada Post. Going forth, we will use this option as much as we can.

4) The sole casualty of the CP strike over here, has been all the prints from the last pre order. I will reorder them here shortly so they will still be here for Christmas, but they won’t be done as soon as I had originally said!

5) We’re still open for orders! If you are wanting mugs, stockings, jewelry cases and wondering what artwork you can put on them, I just made an album (find it by going to “Photos” on the page, and then “Albums”, it will be titled “Available Artwork For….”) for you to see it all in one spot! Message me with your idea and we can make it happen!

6) Punchy Christmas Sweaters are back, with half a dozen fresh off the easel designs to accompany last years bunch, and I’ve lined up some more colours as well. Watch for a Pre Order/Build Your Own Shirt order coming tomorrow, We’re gonna keep it short and quick to make sure you have them in your hands for all the upcoming festivities!!

One last note, if I miss or am slow to reply, it’s not you, it’s me! This part of Surge Performance Horses has grown bigger and faster than I had ever imagined, and most of it happens in the evenings after the ponies are rode and the cows are settled. You are never bugging me by asking for an update on your order!

Wow, how are we into the final two months of 2024? It's taken me the entire year just to get the paintings painted and graphics graphiced to make up this collection. I hope that you enjoy looking though it!

A few important points...
-Sizing is unisex
-Shipping is available
-Prices are listed on the infographics towards the drag end of the album, where it shows you the colour options for each shirt, and a size chart will be posted in the comments.
-Still no website! It's on my to do list, but until that happens you can order by messaging me here. Payment is requested when you make your order (but, if you need some extra time, just let me know when you place your order. Its much easier on my end if we get your order in with the bulk order!) Payment can be made by etransfer, or if you prefer I can send you an invoice to be paid via credit card.

I have/will always maintain the biggest compliment you can get when you are in the business of “making” horses, is repeat customers.

Salsa is the first born c**t by Revvy (out of a Coyote Ridge Ranch mare), and the first one to leave the ranch. I have a strong desire to hoard all of these c**ts for ourselves, because I see/feel so much of all the good qualities of their sire in them. It’s been pretty hard to part with him, but I’m also incredibly proud of the horse he is.

So while I miss his friendly self meeting me at the gate, I also couldn’t be happier. We only take on a handful of c**ts every year, and we either raise them ourselves or buy them as weanlings. We know them inside out, and the folks I would have picked as a good match for Salsa, picked him. Good c**ts only become great horses when they’re on the right hands, and we know Salsa’s gonna make a great one.

So, a huge thank you to the Lourance family on their purchase of Salsa. This is the third Surge horse they’ve added to their string, and it’s hard to put into words how much we appreciate their support!

It’s TUESDAY!!

This coming week, you can shop us in person during AG EX in Brandon. 9-5, Wednesday to Saturday, free admission to get in to the Keystone Centre!

If you can’t drop by, take a couple minutes and make up a label to get FREE SHIPPING!

It goes without saying, we all hate paying for shipping. But, once a year, Canada Post shows us a little kindness, and offers up free shipping for one package every Tuesday in October.
You have to make the label on a Tuesday, and you have to print off or save the label to your computer within six days. But, once you have that part down, they are good for six months! Just in time to be used for Christmas orders, or to treat yourself!

Here’s the skinny!!

First off, you need to sign up for a small business account through Canada Post. Your farm, ranch, side hustle, if you mow your neighbours grass… you qualify! The sign up process is quite simple.
From there, you will go through the snapship site and create a label. For the “send from” address you will type in my info:

In the “send to” address, you put in your own info!
For package size, Using imperial measurements 14” x 10” x 10”, and a 10 lb weight.
Then select regular shipping!

You will be required to put in your credit card info for this. The reason being, if your package is over size/weight, they will charge your card ONLY FOR THE OVERAGE AMOUNT. So in example, your large parcels that would maybe be $40 to ship regular, would only be $10 (those are “ish” numbers 😂).

You should be redirected to where you can print, save or email your labels. I recommend you do this right away as October’s a busy time of year and 6 days go by in a blink! You can email me the labels at [email protected].
If you have any troubles along the way, reach out and I’ll do my best to help get you sorted out. You guys have been so supportive and encouraging, and I appreciate it so very much!
