Champagne and Hannah were showing off their leash-walking skills in Puppy Class! ⭐️

In Week 4, we focused on attentive walking, plus practiced sits, downs, and stands along the way. These girls also nailed some recall work and enjoyed some off-leash playtime together. 🐾

🥳 Huge congratulations to Daisy and her family! 🐾

Over the past 8 weeks, Daisy’s family dedicated themselves to teaching her to confidently wear a muzzle, improving her body handling, and building essential grooming skills. 🤩

They learned how to use Pattern Games and cooperative care protocols to help Daisy feel more secure and trusting. 🧀

To keep training exciting and fun, Daisy also enjoyed time with the jumps, tunnel, and sniff stations. 🐾

We’re incredibly proud of Daisy and her family for their hard work and commitment. Wishing them continued success on their journey together!

Today in Puppy Class the puppies worked on equipment that challenged them to think about moving their bodies with purpose, body handling & brushing, food bowl games, recall, leash walking and of course playing together!

🐾 Puppy Socialization & Environmental Exposure Tips! 🐾

Giving your pup a variety of experiences early on is one of the most important things you can do! Not only does it help build their confidence, but it also teaches them how to handle new environments, sounds, people, and other animals. 🙌

Letting your puppy explore safely helps them learn to adapt to different environments, reducing fear later in life.

Exposure to different places (urban streets, parks, pet-friendly stores) gives your puppy a chance to develop important life skills while keeping things fun! Remember: positive reinforcement and patience are key! 🌟

Every new experience builds a better foundation for your pup’s future confidence. Whether it’s a new texture under their paws, a friendly stranger, or even the sounds of cars passing by, exposing your puppy to the world (in safe, controlled ways) helps them grow into a well-rounded, happy dog. 🐶
