Bianca and Poppy’s litter of 10! They were born August 13th. Some very solid coloured babies, all Berkshire and Variegated. We have Agouti, Black, and what looks to be Cocoa and/or Chocolate. Will keep you guys updated💕

Sunshine and Winston’s litter of 14 beautiful babies! Very exciting and unexpected genes came up. Sunshine(mom) is a standard coat+standard eared, beige Variegated Berkshire. Winston(dad) is a recessive hairless dumbo. ALL babies have ruby, red, or pink eyes.

I was going to take pictures of the last 4 girls available from Wiggles and Winston’s litter, but these babies are CRAZY. I’ve never had such a hyper litter! I put them down to take a photo and there was NO sitting still. So if you are looking for some pets to keep you busy, look no further haha.
They are all double rex with dumbo ears. One female is either black or possibly agouti (hard to tell with only fuzz), and she has black eyes. The rest are white or possibly beige, and they all have red/pink eyes.

Dahlia gave birth to 11 beautiful babies July 19th! She is a Russian Blue Variegated Berkshire. The father(Hendrix) is an Agouti Variegated Hooded. Both have dumbo ears, and standard fur. More updates to come!

Certain types of rats can tread water for up to THREE days, and hold their breathe for three minutes. Some species can even swim over a mile. Also, some of you may have heard stories about rats popping up in toilets, and this is indeed true. They can easily make their way up your pipes!

Weekly “Did You Know😮” Rat Facts
Not only are rats intelligent enough to learn tricks like dogs, but they also have really good MEMORIES. They can recognize humans faces that they have seen before, especially their owners and other rats. They can map out a room, and remember all the different routes. Some even believe that rats can remember past events in their lives.

Mama Loki’s litter of 12 beautiful babies! There are 10 boys and 2 girls.
In the first picture(boys) we have a Black Mismarked Hooded, Black Self, and two Black Berkshire.
In the second picture(boys) we have 4 White. Still unsure about black eyes or red eyes.
In the third picture(boys) we have an Agouti, and a Russian Blue(possible Mismarked Self).
In the fourth picture(girls) we have another Agouti, and another White.
Some of the colours could change a little bit when they go through their first molt, but so far the information is accurate☺️

Weekly “Did you know😮” Rat Facts
As many of you know already, rats use their tails as a way to keep their balance. However, did you know that they also use their tails to adjust for cold and hot weather? They do so by controlling the blood vessels in their tails. This is an important feature for them, since they lack the ability to sweat. The term for this is called thermoregulation.
