The WECHS worked with the Provincial Animal Welfare Service to address two major hoarding situations in the past few months. A number of cats were removed in each case, and many are having a tough time finding homes. They're confused and scared and need someone willing to give them lots of time and patience to find their true selves. Most of our adopters understandably are looking for a cat or kitten who will fit into their home quickly, so these guys and their friends have been getting overlooked time and again. But we want to change that!
We have WAIVED adoption fees on a number of cats who started their lives in hoarding situations and need a second chance. All of them have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites, and microchipped, and they are used to living with other cats. All they need now is someone to give them a chance! Maybe you?
Fees are specifically marked on each of the cats (hint - the colours of cats in hoarding situations tend to be similar since they're all related so look for cats like these!): https://windsorhumane.org/cats-kittens
