Hi, my name is Koa, and I wanted to show off my teefers just for you. I was in for a visit, and my mom was telling the Brack team that she's already brushing my teeth.

We here at Brack are really proud of Koa's mom for starting this important hygiene process early. Although Koa is going to lose all those teeth his mom is currently brushing, it will prepare him to accept the brushing of his big boy teeth. This will hopefully prolong his need for a dentistry, unlike our kitty friend in our other post.

We have an alert for all of our canine friends. We have just been notified by the Essex County Veterinary Association that there is a current Parvovirus outbreak that has emerged in the downtown Windsor core, with several cases reported outside of the downtown.
Parvovirus is highly contagious and can be spread to your dog by contact with infected stool or contaminated environments.
Puppies and immune compromised pets are most at risk.

So what can you do?
-Ensure your dog is up to date on vaccines and that your puppy is up to date on its boosters
-Try to avoid high dog traffic areas if your pet is not fully vaccinated
-If your puppy (or dog) is sick, do not wait to have them seen. Look for signs such as, but not limited to: diarrhea that may be bloody, lethargy, inappetence, and vomiting
