Meet Duncan. Our family recently adopted him from the Pembina Valley Humane Society. At 12 years old, he is the perfect “old man dog” and is fitting right into our home. We look forward to spoiling him through his senior years.

Electro-acupuncture is the application of pulsating electrical current to acupuncture needles. This stimulation is mild, does not result in muscle fasciculation, and is generally well tolerated and enjoyed by patients.

Electro-acupuncture accentuates and sustains the effects of dry needling. The frequency and pattern can be adjusted to optimize pain relief, or nerve stimulation.

My favourite conditions to use electro-acupuncture with include:
Back pain
Arthritis
IVDD
Neurological conditions
Equine performance therapy

Conditions we avoid electro-acupuncture with include:
Epilepsy
Pregnancy
Patients with a pacemaker
