So, our precious reference Emerald DF has made a debut in the show ring with her beloved owner Kennedy Teske. The amount of work n partnership they have achieved together is awesome.
Emerald DF (Farwest X Quite easy X Burggraaf) turned 6 this year and the way she’s handling everything is spectacular. Congratulations to Amanda Teske and Mark Teske
We are very proud to see her achieve bigger goals.❤️

After some more restless nights, we welcomed TESLA, Porsche’s first baby by VISION VAN’T HAZELARENHOEKJE.
It’s a healthy, dark bay boy💙.
He’s really pretty with great soothing eyes.
(Vision van’t hazelarenhoekje X Boulder’s Bam bam)
Vision is a great sire who jumped up to 1.40 but had to end the jumping career because of an injury. He’s sired by great Clinton who is the great sire and well known for passing his abilities onto his offsprings.
Porsche is the first time mum who is sired by boulders bam bam. Bam bam is full brother of our mare Zena QV( Quite easy I X Burggraaf).
Turns out the baby has a grey muzzle. So going to be a grey.
Let’s pray and wish for their successful future.

🎉Last night, after a very long wait, we welcomed our first foal of this year. 🎉

Desiderius family would love to announce the arrival of a filly sired by the legendary Contefino and out of the super mom ‘Zena QV’ (who makes her new record of producing 8 fillies).

This filly has a rich pedigree of amazing ancestors contributing their power, brain and athleticism.
Contefino is an amazing 1.60m jumper beast who has contributed a lot to his show career as well as breeding career. His offspring are very athletic, calm and easy to work with. They can be seen in all parts of the world conquering wins in international horse shows. He’s sired by the best of the best - Contender who really doesn’t need any introduction. His offspring’s have not only excelled in their jumping but also at making babies.
Zena is the super mom who has Quite easy I as her dad and burggraaf as her grand dad.
Both horses have proved that anything they r associated with, will be a win.

Just watched the $215,000 horseware Ireland Grand Prix under the lights in Wellington.
Watched really cool horses with great pedigrees & one of the sire that got stuck in our sights was Quite Easy I.
Sired by the legend - Quidam de revel.
Dam sire - Landgraf I
An absolute hero. Father of Zena QV and grandfather of all the horses produced by Desiderius farms.

He has all the qualities.

He won two bronze medals at the Olympic Games in Athens (2004), was fifth in the World Cup Final in Milan (2005)

We got her safe and she’s settling in.

Everything is amazing about winter at Desiderius Farms. As winter hits, our horses are brought in their pens and have alfalfa hay after they have finished the lush green grass in the pastures.
They love it.

Athena with Kate curry got a second place in $10,000 winning round in 1.10m competing against 12 other riders and horses.
She is a true blessing. Congratulations to the owner, horse and the rider.

We have decided to call this sassy girl ‘Zenith’. (Contefino X Quite easy I X Burggraaf). 3 days old but she’s like a race car, making her tired mother on top of her hooves. Waiting to see what future holds for her.

Porsche had no problem cruising around the ring at heart of the continent. She was really outstanding n took Nehal Jora for a smooth ride the whole show. The rider and the horse had amazing n fun time knowing each other more in the ring. One of their best n smooth round at the show.

ATHENA is back after a long trip from Rocky Mountain show jumping. She has achieved a lot of experience and solidly moved up to 1.10m with placing in every class. Really excited to see her go up and high. Desiderius family loves her and wish he luck.
