URGENT Foster needed! Cactus is in need of a double hip surgery and requires a foster home with minimal stairs that can commit to a couple of months recovery. She’s in an extreme amount of pain and needs surgery ASAP!

She’s good with dogs and kids and house trained, but requires a calm home so that she can have space to recover.

Hi I’m Teena!
I’m an extremely active, goofy and sweet girl who loves to go for walks, wrestle with my foster sibling and play with my stuffies! When I’m not playing, I’m happy to curl up next to you on the couch for some snuggles, or settle in next to the wood stove to soak up the heat.

I am fully housetrained and I will go in my crate easily, but I don’t like being left in there and can be quite vocal about it. When I’m left home alone I do need to be in my crate though because I really like to chew on things and I’m still learning what’s safe and what’s not. I am excellent in the vehicle but should be crated to avoid me chewing on or getting into anything I shouldn’t. Due to my vocal ways, apartment style living isn’t ideal.

I am good with dogs and curious about cats (but not aggressive). Due to my high energy and excitement, I can be a bit jumpy so would do better with older children who can assist in working on my manners.

I still need some practice with walking on leash but with consistency I improve quickly. I am very smart and trainable, especially when treats are involved! I know how to “sit, lay down, drop it and take nice”. The world is such a fun and interesting place I still need work on my recall and a fenced yard would be best as I sometimes follow my nose too much! I just can’t help it, I love new smells!

I am a very happy, loving and beautiful girl (according to my foster mom). After a rough start in life I’m looking to making up for lost time and finding my forever family to go on adventures with! Do you have room in your home for me?

Medical note:
Teena needs to have a follow up vet appointment mid April as a final check up for her previous dental surgery (at the expense of MMDR). We can give you more details.

Hi! I'm Lemon and I'm a loving and loyal little girl. I'm super smart and one of my favourite things is to look at you with my big puppy-dog-eyes and make you happy. Should I sit down? I already know how, don't worry. I'm a very quick learner and I'm *almost* house trained (hey, it's tough when you have a teeny-tiny bladder and it's -40 outside). I love, love, love to cuddle and am the happiest curled up on your lap or in your arms.

Little people? Love them! I have two of them in my foster home and they're so much fun to play with and snuggle with. Other dogs or cats? I have both in my foster home as well and I'm extremely respectful, giving them their space. I don't even try to chase the cats. I really bond to my favourite person or people and would make a fantastic forever best friend to one person or a family. I just want to always be by your side.

I'm the most wonderful puppy with so much love (and kisses, did I mention I like to give kisses) to give. Look deep into my puppy-dog eyes and you'll see how much love I could add to your life.

Hi there! I'm Cheesecake and I'm a silly and sweet little girl with a big personality! I love people of all sizes and I consider myself a certified lap dog (please can I sit on your lap?). I'm very intelligent and am already asking to go outside to do my business (although I still have accidents sometimes, I am still a baby). I have a silly little bark and I'm super brave and confident - nothing scares me!

Little people? Love them! I have two of them in my foster home and they're so much fun to play with and snuggle with. Other dogs or cats? I have both in my foster home as well and I'm extremely respectful, giving them their space. I don't even try to chase the cats. I'm a super easy going girl that would do great in any sort of home, as long as there's lots of love.

Hi. I'm Magnifico a.k.a. Bear. I’m a very energetic and busy boy who loves his green dinosaur and pull toys.

I am 90% housetrained and fully crate trained (my place to go at night).

I am good with everyone so far, I haven’t been able to get out much yet. I met cats, and they were cool, and I love love love meeting new people. Because I don’t have all my shots I haven’t been dog tested. Since I am full into teething, I am quite nippy and rough so will need guidance as I go through this stage.

I would love going for walks if I could, I’m pretty good on the leash, when I do go out. I need good exercise, a nice size yard would be good for me. My Vet says I’m 80% German Shepherd, so I need challenges and lots of stimulation. I am very, very smart – psst – and sneaky. (This is why my foster family thinks a more experienced dog family would be helpful)

I am wonderful and would love to very active, but when I crash, I want your feet to lay on, oh and don’t forget my cuddles, I like them too.

Chip is a happy, energetic boy who loves to work on training and loves his walks.

His new family will hopefully continue the training to make him the best version of himself. We're still working on leash manners. He's so friendly - he wants to meet everyone he sees, especially kids! We're still working on his reactivity with other dogs, so an experienced owner would be helpful in that aspect. He currently lives with 2 dogs, with no issues.

Chip came to us with a skull fracture, so we've been working on his trauma. Touching his head and face is getting better but he may be better with older children (over 12 years old) who can understand his limits.

Chip can be very cuddly, but on his own terms. Chip is house trained and crate trained.

If your family is looking for an enthusiastic, loving puppy that needs to continue some training, Chip is your man!

Hi. I'm Noodle, or Monsieur Le Noodles, Noodle Knife-Hands or just Noodle-man.

I am what my foster mom calls “a standard issue” tabby boy who is sometimes sweet and sometimes spicy (I am a kitten after all). I am goofy and cuddly and only have zoomies a few times a day. I use a scratching post, steal my foster brothers’ beds and am litter trained using pine pellets.

I am good with other cats, haven’t met dogs because foster mom’s dogs don’t really like cats (and I happen to be a cat, but that’s their loss). Foster mom is convinced that I would get along fine with CIVILIZED dogs, and she’s a good judge of character. I love to play, steal toys, and dinner time rocks. I had a rough start in life and am really enjoying this whole “house cat” vibe.

I am a sweet, silly kitty who would steal your heart and be your BFF. I may be a “standard issue tabby” but my heart is one-in-a million. Will you bring me home and let me be part of your family?

Hi. I'm Limburg!
I am a fearless and happy kitten looking for my forever home. My foster mom calls me a "cool cat", she says it's because I'm very active, brave, curious, fun and funny!

She also says I'm a "gem" because I'm the whoooollllle package. I love to play, explore, and eat like most kittens do, but I'm also a snuggler. I like to get "all up in your grill" to sniff what you had for breakfast and then maybe take a snooze on your chest, or lap. I like getting human kisses too!!

Remember..... that I am barely six months old so my curious brain is very active! I would do best with a buddy, a close in age cat or possibly a cat savvy young dog (I haven't met one yet but with a proper intro, it could go well)! Otherwise I find myself getting into shenanigans that humans don't appreciate. So please keep this in mind!

I am fully litter trained and learning to use scratching posts. My foster mom knows which toys are my favorites so she will share that with you!

Hi. I'm Amaya.
I’m a super intelligent, active and sassy girl who loves to play and follow my foster mom until I am tired and cozy up to her feet.

✅ I am almost fully housetrained and I barely have any accidents - I am vocal when I need to go outside.

✅ I am fully crate trained and find it a cozy place to nap and spend the night. I can be in the crate for a few hours during the day and don’t have any accidents.

✅ I am good with ­cats but I REALLY want to play with them so I would need a cat that is dog savvy.

✅ I love other dogs and would benefit from a home with a brother or sister dog in the house that could teach me how to play nice and help me burn some of my energy!

I haven’t met kids yet because I am teething and still learning what I should and shouldn’t bite. So, if you have children, we will need proper supervision and training to be safe.

I do get a little emotional when other pets are eating around me, I am not mean to them, I just really want their food (and mine) but I am working on being more patient. Feeding me separately from other pets will be helpful.

I haven’t tried to go on any walks because I don’t have all my shots yet but I sure love snow diving! I always come back inside when my foster mom calls me in.

I am super eager to learn new things and would love to explore the world with my forever family. Is there a little bit of room in your cozy home for me?
