Why is it important to have your dog groomed on a regular basis??
One simple answer would be to help stay aware of any potential health concerns!
Over Maddie’s last couple appointments we had noticed some new spots/bumps on her paws that seemed to be irritated, after a visit at the vet, it was found to be an infection due to her feet staying wet from the winter snow and continuous licking.
Our friend was brought back in with recommendation from her vet, we carefully shaved her paws down to limit the amount of moisture getting trapped in her fur and allow for healing.

Due to the rising costs of running a business, we have added a small increase in our pricing.
Our clients are important to us and we strive to provide the best service we can at affordable pricing. You will only notice changes in pricing for the following services: bath, bath&tidy, standard grooms, de-matting and “sPaw day”
If you have previously booked an appointment for April, we have made note to charge you based on our previous pricing.
This will only be for appointments booked prior to April 1, 2023 and will not apply to future bookings.
Again, we appreciate all our clients, and thank you all for your loyalty! We would not be the business we are without you!

This guy was so happy to be free of his tangles and matting he couldn’t stay still for photos!
Here are 3 ways to help prevent painful matting for your dog:
1. Brush your pup regularly (3-4x a week depending on the breed and coat type)
2. Use detangle spray when brushing out their fur
3. Put your dog on a regular grooming schedule (4-6 weeks depending on breed and haircut goals)

Please remember: brushing and combing out your dogs on a regular basis will be a preventative for tangles, matting, and will remove dirt/debris. Not to mention, this is an important step in coat maintenance.
Tips for brushing/combing your dog:
1. Ask your groomer for a demo
2. Ask your groomer about the proper tools and detangling sprays
3. Make a routine brushing your dog (1-4 times a week)
4. Put your dog on a regular grooming schedule (4-8 weeks depending on haircut goals)

We treated this girl with some much needed pampering!! These cold, dry winter ❄️ months can be harsh on our pets skin, and this sweet pea is no exception.
Our furry friend came in with very dry, flaky skin, to help combat the severity of her dryness we added in a mud bath to her regular grooming and finished off her cut with a moisturizing finishing spray!

Charlie and Felix came in for their 2nd groom!! These pups are always fun to work with!
Here’s a few tips to help your puppy when bringing them to the groomer:
1. Play with puppies feet and nails to prepare them for nail trimmings
2. Blow dry your pup after each bath, they will quickly adjust to not only the noise but the air blowing at them, this is also super beneficial for their skin during the dry winter months
3. Work on basic commands like sit, stay, off
4. Walk your puppy to their appointment, this will help tire and relax your energetic pup before they go in for a groom, making it easier for us to give them a nice cut and style!
Lastly, please remember, it takes time for your new puppy to adjust to grooming, be patient while your groomer works with your pet, it may take 3-4 appointments before they become more adjusted to the grooming process
