Ashley 😻. Outdoor time is not something we do as a rule but this sweet girl’s pet parents gave express permission. It’s a well fenced area and she’s a cool and calm girl who respects when it’s time to go back indoors. Nevertheless it’s 💯percent focus when we are in the yard.

A highly contagious upper respiratory infection in dogs has been occurring in certain parts of the United States including Oregon, Colorado, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire.

With symptoms similar to canine influenza, kennel cough, vets are under rain what causes it or how to treat it. For now they are recommending limiting contact with other dogs in dog parks and doggie daycares.

Abigail was as good as gold on our eight hour legs between Toronto and Sault Ste. Marie Sault Ste. Marie and thunder Bay respectively. She mostly slept with occasional breaks for a quiet observation. No whining no barking. Such a sweet girl. Her new pet parents are going to be so delighted with her. I can’t wait to find out more of her personality quirks like where she likes to sleep. I set up her bed with all her blankets, favourite toy and bully stick. 30 seconds and guess where she ends up. Right beside me. Oh well. Day two we got, our routines down a little better and she claimed the second bed as her own. Although she did take up the entire queen size lol. She slept through the whole night with Mary a whimper. Only a brief midnight, snack, and drink. She’s such a dream. Can’t wait to get her into the hands of her new family. .

We offer pet transport services but this one is on a whole new level. This sweet and gentle girl is Abbigail, a 4 year old Scottish deer hound. She was needing to find her forever home and one of our clients has always loved the breed and after a recent loss needing to fill a hole in her heart that only a deer hound could fill. Abby was located just outside of Toronto and as luck would have it I was travelling that way anyhow. After a few texts and calls with a Peterborough-based breeder who gave Abigail some much needed respite and rehabilitation, the date came. Here we are on day 1. A huge thank you to for excellent advice, amazing preparation and ample supplies to ensure the two day trip was as comfortable and stress free for Abby as possible.

Milestone moments. This is Ginny aka that lump under a blanket. We’ve been caring for her and her sister Luna for two seasons now. Probably over 75 visits in all. Each visit I’d spend time soft talking, slow blinking and offering finger sniffs and treats. Yep. Two years! One day during a booking last fall, she emerged, meowed and let me pet her. 🙀 Here she is on our latest booking purring away and asking for pets (and treats). All this time I could have given up and just spent my time with lovely Luna who loves cuddles but here we are. Friends at last. The investment was appreciated and rewarded. This is the stuff that keeps me going on the long, hot and tiring days .

After one week of interrupted service due to a server error, we are happy to report our email issues have been resolved.
