Can you identify this creepy crawler under the microscope? 👀

Hint: It's tiny, clingy, and causes a real itch!

🐾 That's right—it's lice!
While not as common as fleas or ticks, lice can still cause big problems for our furry friends. These pesky parasites can lead to:

🔸 Constant itching and scratching
🔸 Hair loss or patchy fur
🔸 Skin infections from all that irritation
🔸 Anemia in severe infestations

🐶🐱 Both dogs and cats can get lice, though they typically don’t share them with each other—or with humans!

The good news? Lice are treatable with proper veterinary care and parasite prevention.

On a warm day, the temperature inside a parked car can rise dangerously fast, putting pets at serious risk. Even with the windows cracked, it’s just not safe.

If you're out and about, it's best to leave your furry friend at home where it's cool and comfortable. 🐶🐱💙

Did you know that puppies need to be weighed regularly until they’re fully grown? Their weight can change quickly, and it’s super important to make sure they’re getting the correct dose of preventative medication. Too little might not protect them — too much could be harmful!
