Time to celebrate the growers and the stuff they grow (and, hmmm, why in the world would CANADA choose February for Canada Ag Day???? I mean, really??)
Which local vegetable do you miss most in the winter??
*
Mine is DEFINITELY lettuce. I just ate a rare leaf or two of grocery store lettuce. Honestly...blah! Oh, how I miss the crunchy, juicy sweetness of a locally grown head of lettuce! ๐ฅฌ๐ฅฌ๐ฅฌ Some spring days, I just bring a head of lettuce in and munch away on the whole head, leaf after luscious leaf.
