Text 204.226.9693 to book... This 7-month-old Nash. He's ≈ 55 lbs & this was his 3rd grooming appointment. This is how we doodle properly. 🙏🏼
This means, for instance, he started at ≈ 3 months old. So he's been to the see a stylist 3 times in 5 months. That's every 4-6 weeks on average.
His owners GET IT! Doodles like Nash, well he's a stunner for sure, and maintaining his coat in a way that is needed for his own comfort is an investment. It's more expensive annually than joining a gym or taking a class. This is the way & Nash looks amazing! *if I do say so myself. 🤍🖤

He was very uninterested in picture taking but is still a certified good boy. Please, help me celebrate Toby here by dropping a "good-boy" in the comments - Becaaause, on top of his good-boy status, he's; a) a gazillion yrs old, sore & has always been a good boy, but b) lately he's had to put up with his new 9-month old little yellow lab brother. Hokysh*t! Energy+++ & endlessly interested in everythingallatonce, including climbing on top of and over Toby in the car just to see WHATWASTHATOMGITHINKTHATSAMAZING!!!...as new-boy, who is as big as Toby, literally steps on Toby's face... 🤦🏽‍♂️ The training of the manners is under way, lol.
In the meantime, today it's "Here's to Toby! 🍻"

🚫 Stop the Madness: Top 3 Reasons Extendable Leads Are Terrible 🚫

Hey dog lovers! 🐾 Let's talk about extendable leashes – they might seem convenient, but here's why they're not your dog's best friend:

1️⃣ Lack of control: A tragic incident occurred last summer in Winnipeg. A young dog was struck and killed in a parking lot while wandering too far on an extendable lead. Please just stick to a 4’-6’ lead for better control.

2️⃣ Rope Burn risks: These long lines can tangle around legs, kids, or other dogs, causing burns, or worse, when excitement kicks in.

3️⃣ Yank & Chase: Imagine a fast, excited dog chasing after a squirrel on an extendable leash. What happens when they get to the end of it?! This happened to my Dog-Niece Emma. It tore out of their hands, turning the handle, which was now retracting as it's being dragged. Once it's fully retracted, it's "chasing" a dog that's already over excited. It was a scary situation that lead her to be out of sight and earshot within seconds. The owners found out she'd been hit by a car, only when the emergency animal Hospital she was brought to called the number on the collar. There were a whole lot of tears shed for Emma. Tthankfully her injuries were only minor.

Trust me, opt for a sturdy, fixed-length leash and invest in proper training techniques. Your dog will thank you for it! 🐶
